Overall Satisfaction with Quick Base

Our main use for Quick Base is as a tool for our clients, in the oil and gas industry, to manage their assets and compliance with government regulations. We use it in house as well to track company licenses, trademarks, contracts etc. as well as for the internal audits that we perform for our clients on their behalf.
  • Asset and Task Management - Quick Base is a user friendly tool to manage your assets and tasks on a daily basis.
  • Auditing/Inspections - Quick Base makes it easy for auditors to go through an audit/inspection fairly easily and then report out to the client their findings.
  • Graphical reporting - Quick Base needs to allow users to set max and min, tick mark frequency and apply a background to their graphical reports. This will help keep things consistant across multiple graphs and allow for the third dimension of graphing with a background.
  • Easier implementation of many to many relationships - this is not very critical since the work around already in place works well, though there are a few circumstances when the work around causes more complexity than needed.
Yes we have. I am usually a one man show for all my clients (project manager), so being able to quickly implement new features and fixes, it has let me keep up with all my clients even when my team is tied up with other projects.
They are great programs, though they are clunky in user experience and development. They require teams to upgrade, expand, or change functionality. This equates to more time between ideas and users using the end product. Quickbase can do everything these systems can do but has a great easy to use user interface and a very quick development process to get new use cases out to end users faster.
  • Building and deploying business applications faster
  • Improving our ability to drive insights from our data
  • Improving collaboration across one or more teams
  • Solving a specific business challenge
  • Building and deploying an application (or multiple applications) that meets our exact needs
Yes we have. All my clients are happy and not looking elsewhere to find a different system to take care of their needs. Most all of my clients and in house users have requested more and more features to be put into their databases. I have applications that take care of use cases that would normally require multiple pieces of software.
I haven't had any trouble with getting new users up and running with using the software. Reporting, record creation, record editing and other user functionality is relatively straight forward and I have seen it take less than 2-3 months for most users to figure out the ropes. As far as more backend administration, there is a learning curve, though anyone that has worked with Access or other database systems, should be able to figure it out rather quickly.
I do this on a regular basis with my existing applications. Updates, fixes and new feature deployment is rapid and quick with the tools that Quick Base provides. My clients only wait hours instead of days for their requests to show up in their application ready to use.

Mainly to push and pull data. Full interactive map with Google Maps.
Greatly increased the end user experience with a new way to interact with Quickbase.
Other than two-factor authentication and security questions, I have implemented various application security rules on how data is managed and stored.

Third party reviews really gave a user perspective of the features detailed on the Quickbase website. This spoke to us to let us know this is a serious product and capable of tackling anything that we throw at it.
I wouldn't change anything. We reviewed multiple options, consulted users, reviews, etc. It was pretty exhaustive.
