Overall Satisfaction with Quick Base
QuickBase is used across the whole organization. Used mostly to track employee capacity/productivity, I think. Possibly also for client activity reports. I am not privy to other management uses. I am a foot soldier in this situation (and also an independent contractor, so not actually an employee of Butin).
- Can track time spent on a project down to the minute, but no one here uses it that way, as far as I can tell.
- Provides ample room to describe activities performed on assigned tasks.
- Allows simple emailing of time sheets to client.
- Does not permit accurate time recording when entering a start-stop time span that crosses the midnight hour. The total logged time on QuickBase then goes into negative numbers. That's bizarre and throws off the amount of time worked on a project.
- The log of time-punches changes every Sunday night at midnight, and not sure that's entirely a good thing.
I have no idea. This is above my pay grade.
