We have multiple quotation departments using our custom QuickBase App to organize, log and generate reports on all of the opportunities we receive and find to submit our quotations. It has proven to be a great tool that keeps our team members inside and outside the department current on what we are doing and how we are progressing.
- QuickBase allows for user customization so apps can be tailored and easily updated to individual business requirements.
- Reports can be saved as spreadsheets for further manipulation.
- Data is easily searchable and sortable within Quickbase for quick analysis.
- Additional roles and parameters for users. Our users need full administration to use the app as required but should be locked out of the apps customization room!
- Email alerts are buggy.
We customized our app and it is now being used in multiple provinces. It has enabled us to pool our data and efforts to help us succeed with our business goals.
If you have experience building a database using Excel/Word, MS Access or any other software - it is quite easy to build one within QuickBase - the basics are the same.
