Overall Satisfaction with Quickbase
I like Quickbase because it provides a very flexible toolbox for designing the forms that users use to input and manage data. It also allows us to send out reports on that data on a specified interval, which my higher management team really likes. Users can quickly and easily learn how to use their views which facilitates buy-in during the adoption and training phase.
Pros
- Cloud-based, which allows remote workers to enjoy using the same product that they use when in the office.
- Consistency - the base platform hasn't changed in significant ways that cause user confusion.
- Ability to export data for alternative analyses.
Cons
- Cost. We have trimmed our license count down substantially, lower than we would like, in order to reduce costs.
- Slight learning curve on getting used to the report configuration page.
Smartsheet is nowhere near as capable as Quickbase in some areas, but it also costs much, much less.
