Overall Satisfaction with Quickbase

Our company uses Quickbase to manage our customers, and keep track of their purchases, contacts, forecasts, activities, and more. We mainly use it as a forecasting tool to determine how much of each product we need to buy, and when, based on the individual forecasts that are entered for each customer.
  • The customizable dashboards are a life saver for our company, allowing different stakeholders and users to view the information specific to them
  • Creating new tables and fields is very easy, especially now with the Smart Build feature
  • Dynamic forms are confusing, and are not intuitive to set up
  • Sometimes we have problems with automations that are supposed to run, and everything looks set up correctly, but it does not always work properly
  • We have saved so much time by eliminating multiple versions of spreadsheets, and has given us one central place to store all of our information
  • The customizable reports have enabled us to manipulate data very easily and answer many business questions we have, which saves us both time and money.
Our company is able to see all of our customer data in one place, whether that be notes, contact information, purchase history, upcoming demand, activities, etc. Every one who now uses Quickbase can see the same info, which really helps when we have turnover in our employees. With user logs and time stamps, we are able to have more visibility into who has updated, and keep track of changes within our data.
With most of the company now working from home, we are no longer in one central setting, and Quickbase has given us the platform to collaborate and standardize information in one location. We are all able to have visibility into what others have been doing.
Projects are complex because they usually involve data from multiple sources, roles, and platforms. Quickbase has given us a way to standardize our processes, and improve visibility throughout our organization.

Quickbase allows us to run reports to view all kinds of metrics about our customers, their purchases, and their future demand. It allows us to see where our customers have fallen short based on what they said they would buy, which gives us a great place to start when we need to reach out to win new business/win back old business.

Using Quickbase

28 - Our users represent people from various departments in our company including Sales Rep, Accounting, Product Managers, Marketing, Business Development, and Management.
1 - We have one person who has an administrator role in Quickbase. That person is in charge of building new apps, restructuring current apps based on feedback from others in the company, etc. Quickbase does not require a coding background or knowledge base, so it is fairly easy to use for anyone who is unfamiliar with that. However, good skills to have are some knowledge of databases as well as a basic knowledge in writing formulas.
  • Forecasting Tool
  • Data Integration and Reporting
  • Customer Database
  • We were able to build custom Pivot Table reports that other systems were unable to support
  • Want to expand to replace other systems that we use, so that we have one integrated system
  • Use Quickbase as a prediction and analysis tool, rather than just a reporting tool
Quickbase is our central platform for keeping track of our accounts, sales, forecasts, opportunities, and more. Our company is now fully involved with Quickbase, after having spent time building various apps, so we will be sticking with Quickbase as a platform.
