Overall Satisfaction with Quickbase
Our company uses Quickbase to manage our customers, and keep track of their purchases, contacts, forecasts, activities, and more. We mainly use it as a forecasting tool to determine how much of each product we need to buy, and when, based on the individual forecasts that are entered for each customer.
Pros
- The customizable dashboards are a life saver for our company, allowing different stakeholders and users to view the information specific to them
- Creating new tables and fields is very easy, especially now with the Smart Build feature
Cons
- Dynamic forms are confusing, and are not intuitive to set up
- Sometimes we have problems with automations that are supposed to run, and everything looks set up correctly, but it does not always work properly
- We have saved so much time by eliminating multiple versions of spreadsheets, and has given us one central place to store all of our information
- The customizable reports have enabled us to manipulate data very easily and answer many business questions we have, which saves us both time and money.

Using Quickbase
28 - Our users represent people from various departments in our company including Sales Rep, Accounting, Product Managers, Marketing, Business Development, and Management.
1 - We have one person who has an administrator role in Quickbase. That person is in charge of building new apps, restructuring current apps based on feedback from others in the company, etc. Quickbase does not require a coding background or knowledge base, so it is fairly easy to use for anyone who is unfamiliar with that. However, good skills to have are some knowledge of databases as well as a basic knowledge in writing formulas.
- Forecasting Tool
- Data Integration and Reporting
- Customer Database
- We were able to build custom Pivot Table reports that other systems were unable to support
- Want to expand to replace other systems that we use, so that we have one integrated system
- Use Quickbase as a prediction and analysis tool, rather than just a reporting tool
