Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

TeamViewer has been used in our office for a number of reasons. Typically, it is our direct link between our office and our IT Specialists; whenever we have an issue with one of our computers, they use it to remote in to that computer and diagnose and even potentially fix the issue. We also use it for remote logging in to specific computers from home for our doctors to be able to view patient files and imaging, should a patient or another doctor's office ever call during non-office hours to inquire about a patient. TeamViewer has allowed us to operate remotely with ease, reducing delays in getting things done that would otherwise have to wait until the office is open again during the week.
  • IT Remote Login
  • Remote Patient Monitoring
  • Telehealth Consultations
  • Remote Equipment Maintenance
  • Secure Communication and Collaborations
  • The UI (User Interface) is a little clunky
  • You have to get the premium to get the benefits of the program
  • Mobile App restrictions
  • Limited/No Customizations
  • Performance is a bit slow
  • Pricey
  • Huge time saver, and time always equals money
  • When traveling into the office isn't possible, or you need to access a file immediately, you can do so from the comfort of home
  • Collaborating on projects remotely is a cinch, drastically reducing the time needed to complete them
The direct and observable economic benefits of TeamViewer is incalculable. The ability to have our IT Specialists remote in to our computers and troubleshoot problems instantly, instead of waiting for them to come out to our site saves so much time and helps spare us having to cancel patients. Anything that can help keep our day going as smoothly as possible is an invaluable asset!
TeamViewer is a bit simpler to use, and just as secure as the other options we reviewed. The price is a little higher, and maybe one day that could be a factor, but for now while it helps us keep our day going in the event of an IT crisis, that price is the least concerning thing.

Do you think TeamViewer delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with TeamViewer's feature set?

Yes

Did TeamViewer live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of TeamViewer go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy TeamViewer again?

Yes

The implementation of TeamViewer is simple. It's quite literally a download and go program. With that in mind, I'd rate it a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. The download takes seconds per computer, and then you are basically ready to start using it right there and then!
Being that our office is a medical practice, and remoting in to any of our computers could give access to patient files and medical records, security and HIPAA compliance is our top priority when implementing a product like TeamViewer. That said, the security process of logging in remotely via TeamViewer feels safe, and the two factor authentication allays any fears of someone being able to take control of your computer without your say. In this world, that security is a must!
TeamViewer is perfect for jobs that can be completed remotely, when the main server requires a person to be physically on site. I suggest, however, that the usage be limited to things that don't demand to much memory usage of the computer that you are remote accessing, as the more "complicated" the task on the computer, the slower it can be to complete it.
