Overall Satisfaction with Todoist

We use Todoist to track tasks and objectives within our organization. It is used across teams to coordinate projects and ensure that work gets done. We find the simplicity and accessibility of the tool (it can be used across platforms) helped adoption and has made Todoist become the task manager of choice in our business.
  • Runs on all web-enabled platforms
  • Clean, simple interface
  • Adaptable to marketing, sales, and product/tech teams
  • Great integration support
  • Not enough keyboard shortcuts!
  • No easy way to integrate email or calendar with tasks
  • No live support options
  • Team has been faster in completing projects.
  • More communication between different teams.
  • Low upfront cost.
One of the best things about Todoist is how easy it is to get up and running. The company had no difficulty in making it their go-to choice for task management. Additionally, creating a task and assigning it to others is dead simple (which is 99% of what a tool like this is used for!).
Todoist only has email support (that I know of), which is fine but means that there is no immediate support for urgent issues.
We tried a bunch of different tools and either found that they were too expensive or had way too many features that created too much overhead for our users. Todoist was by far the easiest to use at an attractive price point.
It's great if you need a simple task management tool that works between all organizations without needing much customization. Additionally, the sharing and collaboration features are great for working across teams. However, if you need a tool that heavily integrates with your software development or another specialized tool, this program is not for you.
