Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Trello is an excellent project management tool. I use it personally for my private life and the whole area of business development in the organization uses it. It gives a clear birds eye view on the status of each item as well as who is responsible and the due date for when the item needs to be finished. It is a very complete project management tool and very complete as well.

Pros and Cons

Great user interface . Easy to use. Drag and drop functionality.
Best user experience on the market.
Complete with all of the necessary features.

For big projects it can be a bit messy.
Not as complete as JIRA or other alternatives.
No calendar in the cards.

Usability

Trello is very easy to use and that is why it is always the first tool you will think about when you need to manage a simple project. It is not well suited for tech savy projects as it lacks the sophistication needed but it is a great personal tool and I strongly recommend it.

Support Rating

I havent used their customer support to be honest. Most of the platform is intuitive and easy to use. I never had to ask for help.

Alternatives Considered

Jira Service Desk

JIRA is mainly focused on tech projects that have independent stages of productions. JIRA makes it easier to prioritize things and Trello lacks complexity on that feature. Trello is easier to use for the non-sophisticated user and JIRA has a worse user experience. Also, Trello has a free version that has more functionalities than JIRA.

Slack, App Annie, The Trade Desk

Likelihood to Recommend

Trello is best used for simple day to day projects that do not involve a multidisciplinary team. It is very useful to organize one's work priorities but it is not the recommended option for big tasks that require a lot of people working at the same time as it lacks the functionalities to provide that kind of overview.
