Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)

We use across entire organization. It was purchased to reduce the number of systems we utilized to hire, onboard, pay and manage employee records. We were able to move almost paperless for employee records, automate workflows, and a powerful reporting tool to monitor and track complex employee data.

UKG had all the modules we were looking for, was highly configurable, and looked like it could grow with our business. Did not realize how much of the heavy lifting was needed on our part for implementation and ongoing. UKG does have its quirks and some workarounds are needed to work through system limitations but are overall happy.
There have been some intermittent system availability and connection issues but we are kept up to date when there are server issues. Overall pages load quickly and can move through different pages quickly and reports run well.
You do not have a dedicated team and as they are growing rapidly knowledge from support reps can vary. You can have same issue you need assistance with and get different answers from different reps. Sometimes tickets can be open for days before anyone responds.
I have used UKG at 2 different companies. I have come to realize my implementation team with PCH was top tier compared with the experience with my current company. My PCH implementation team was knowledgeable and took time to explain why they recommended things be set up a certain way based on our business model.
It is a system with lots of capability and can be a powerful tool for employers. However it is a system that needs a dedicated individual(s) who is knowledgeable to configure and maintain. It can be an overwhelming transition for employers who have had a system like ADP that is configured and updated by ADP. A messy implementation can cause many pain points down the road.
