Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

Webexpenses is used across the whole organization, allowing individuals and teams to easily record their expenses.
  • Allows you to switch accounts so expenses can be centralized in smaller teams.
  • Very powerful when all the features are understood.
  • Far easier than traditional expense methods.
  • Hard to understand at first, can be overwhelming.
  • Improved productivity (less time spent on expenses).
At first it is hard to use and overwhelming. But once understood it is a powerful tool that has improved the way we do our expenses.
I have not had to contact customer support personally so cannot give an opinion either way.
It no longer requires one person to submit all of a team's expenses. Instead, the individuals of that team can submit their own expenses and this saves one person doing it all.
The workflow was the most important as team members can submit expenses and one person can go through and approve.
I have not used any other product.
Webexpenses is well suited for smaller teams where people are in charge of different areas. Webexpenses allows all the expenses from these areas to be centralized as each person can submit the expenses themselves rather than sending all the details for one person to do it all.

Using Webexpenses

450 - All employees across the business use it, for personal expenses as well as business expenses.

The most important function is represented by the Finance team who approve/reject the business expenses of the directors of the company - this could be for new equipment, professional subscriptions such as Adobe licences or client entertainment.
5 - We have a small finance team that are secondary approvers. The expenses are initially approved/rejected by the your line manager before being passed onto members of the finance team.

It is their job to ensure all the submitted expenses are correct with the right information. Attention to detail is a very important skill needed for this, as well as patience and time management as they deal with almost 500 employees

Webexpenses is the best expense software available. The strongest feature is the use of proxy users, allowing team members to log in as those workers who are credit card holders to fill in claims and apply receipts on their behalf, meaning credit card holders don’t solely have to fill in all claims.
