Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
Wrike is a fantastic business operations management tool, we used it extensively for our company to manage our product development (software) process. The integrations Wrike had allowed us to be very productive - from Slack to GitLab we would not have been able to proceed without this product. We also used Wrike to manage our product documentation process - creating marketing, user stories, and more and tracking that development with external users.
Pros
- Ease of tracking and sorting operational pipelines
- Creating, assigning and managing tickets
- GANTT charts are really well laid out and easy to use in the UI
- The UI as a whole is really easy to navigate, is clean, and provides ready access to critical information
Cons
- The user creation process is a bit cumbersome - would be nice if there was batch/bulk user creation capability (adding in new partners for example)
- The ability to map ticket numbers in GitLab to the same numbering schema in Wrike would be very helpful - we had to add them to the name manually
- Integration with Google and O365 would be wonderful to natively view documents
- Made us more efficient in tracking software development
- Made team interactions streamlined - very easy to manage and assign resources
- Easy to work with partners from other companies on joint projects
Wrike is waaaay better in my opinion than Jira - from the easier to use UI, the cleaner breakout of projects, to the way that tickets are created, it is all so much better. Specifically, the left to right flow from project through tickets is just way easier to view and consume. The onboarding and configuration was a couple minutes - in Jira it takes days. And the flexible nature of having your document stores in the same place as your tickets (i.e. no need for a separate app like Confluence) was so much better.
