Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Zoom across the entire organization and use it heavily every day. It allows our users globally to communicate face to face and collaborate more closely than they would otherwise be able to.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Video playback is smooth
Lots of choices for customization
More available options compared to other products on the market

Cons

Webinar has some limitations related to muting and unmuting attendees if the need arises

Return on Investment

Zoom has allowed us to save money by switching from a competing product
Users can't attend two meetings at the same time (it's rare, but still a requested feature)
Employees tell us how much easier it is to start, join, and control meetings now

Zoom Rooms

For the minimal amount we've used Zoom Rooms, it's way easier compared to Cisco's conferencing options and allows close to full control over a meeting without having to join from a laptop as well.

Webex Meetings

It's like Webex but an actual pleasure to use in comparison

Likelihood to Recommend

If you need to meet with someone not in your office, it's a fantastic tool. It's less fantastic for things like remote support, but still just as capable as its competitors.
