Overall Satisfaction with Zoom
Zoom is being used by the entire company. Zoom is our primary video communication tool. For us it solved the issue of having a Linux client for video communication that our parent company did not provide (because they use Skype).
- It just works.
- There is a Linux client available.
- It looks promising for converging all communications (voice, video, and maybe chat).
- I need more education options, specifically around how to analyze Zoom meeting performance.
- improved collaboration, as our Linux based users were lacking a unified solution and unable to connect to Skype meetings.
We have a mixed environment, some Zoom Rooms and mostly Polycom enabled rooms that our parent company provides. Once we enabled the Polycom rooms to connect to Zoom we experienced a huge increase in user satisfaction.
We don't use Zoom Phone, yet.
Zoom just works for us. It has a Linux client, that is why we choose Zoom. We needed a single platform for our video conferencing. One of the things I like most about Zoom is the ability to connect to Zoom using a variety of hardware.
