Likelihood to Recommend 6sense gives you insights into search intent and web visits, with some ways to be notified and act upon the insights through sales and marketing efforts. It is quite expensive so you need to go "all in" to get the value back from the service. We find it helps us to target companies, but the ad network has not been effective for us. But that is true of many ad platforms. 6sense has predictive modeling features that are not a part of our service level we pay for, and so sometimes we get interested in a feature that we'd need to pay more to see. That can be frustrating. But we still get enough value from the service to maintain it as a vendor.
Read full review The reason it's not a seven or above is purely because of the timing of a solution we had requested originally back in August 2023. It's now February 2024, and we're waiting for a wow-factor pitch deck. Previously, we only received a demo recording and an order form quote. These truthfully aren't helpful enough to convince and sway our senior leaders into spending the $35k+ investment into the PMC.
Read full review Pros Segmenting Target Accounts into tiers and priorities. Deliver specific ad campaigns and messaging to target accounts at the right time in their journey. It lets us see the customer journey from the top to the bottom of the funnel. Report on what assets, campaigns, and website pages have the most traffic (what assets/topics mean the most to our target audience). Read full review Personalization: It allows us to create highly personalized direct mail pieces tailored to individual recipients. For instance, we can include the recipient's name, relevant product recommendations, or even custom images that resonate with their preferences. Multi-Channel Integration: The platform seamlessly integrates with our existing digital marketing tools and CRM systems. It enables us to orchestrate cohesive campaigns that combine email, social media, and direct mail to reach our target audience through multiple touchpoints. Automated Workflows: PFL offers robust automation capabilities, streamlining the entire direct mail process. We can set triggers, such as website visits or email engagement, to automatically trigger the sending of personalized direct mail pieces, ensuring timely and relevant outreach. Variable Data Printing: The platform simplifies variable data printing, enabling us to print custom content for each recipient efficiently. This is particularly useful for A/B testing different messaging or designs within a single campaign. Read full review Cons Having better in tool usage reporting. Not having to publish segments to SF to see in the dashboards. Better in tool profiles (ability to add region & team under profiles) and then being able to filter reports to a person or sales manager would make things more agile. Ability to have smaller display campaign audiences (1-1 abm style could use improvement). Read full review There is no built-in functionality to automate direct mail; this has to be created through triggers in Salesforce. The sales cloud integration didn't give us the syncing or reporting we thought would be available. We would like to see more support from team members in the post-onboarding process. Read full review Likelihood to Renew We have several resources and, although 6sense is valuable, I do not believe it's being used widely enough by the sales team due to lack of training and its complexity. I wish there was a simplified guide for use and more 1-on-1 training.
Read full review I will continue to use the platform as long as my employer provides access, but I do not have purchasing power myself.
Read full review Usability The platform is pretty straightforward as far as creating new segments and what's available to do so. The launch of digital advertising has greatly improved in recent months which has been great for our digital team. Adding or removing users and updating integration points is pretty easy as well. Reporting has also been recently updated which makes reporting on usage and ROI much easier too.
Read full review The UI is friendly, clear, and accessible, and I access it directly through the interface (Salesforce) that I perform my function in every day. It is intuitive to navigate, and I am able to find most functionalities I need without the need to consult an admin and/or support teams.
Read full review Reliability and Availability So far the one time we ran into issues they were right there to help
Read full review Performance Most of the time pages load quickly and the UX is great there are moments like every platform where it is laggy though
Read full review Support Rating Their Customer Success model is delivered as advertised. We're very satisfied with the availability of support. They care as much about our success as we do. We also had an issue where we believed there was an issue in a piece of functionality. They continued to dig until they found the problem and immediately put the fix into a patch.
Read full review Only thing holding me back from a perfect 10 would be the timelines for involving the technical team on occasion. There have been a few times where the PFL technical support team has been booked up for days or more than a week out which can delay our project timelines. This doesn't happen often, let me be clear. But when it does, it's usually at the worst time for our campaigns.
Read full review Online Training It was too fast, too complex, no one could follow along. If you miss a step, you're lost for the rest of the time and there is SO MUCH to learn and keep up with.

Read full review Alternatives Considered In my experience, 6sense has better match rates. Match rates are the foundation of an ABM platform. If you can't identify the company, you can't tie the activity to it. All other features are pointless if you can't trust the account data. Aside from that, I think 6sense has better advertising capabilities than most.
Demandbase comes closer in that regard, but 6sense has been expanding their advertising features since I last looked at
Demandbase and the edge has to go to the company that had better match rates. In my opinion, 6sense Sales Intelligence is their competitor to
ZoomInfo SalesOS and it blows
ZoomInfo SalesOS out of the water.
Read full review JourneyMail is one I have evaluated. It did not seem as full featured as PFL Direct Mail Platform, nor did it integrate with the rest of the Salesforce products like PFL Direct Mail Platform (journeymail ONLY integrates to marketing cloud). My customers tend to be cross-cloud and own multiple products and want solutions that can integrate across their stack easily.
Read full review Scalability Has been used by a few teams cross functionally and the scalability of this product is great as we continue to grow
Read full review It does take a while to launch or re-launch a campaign, which can make it difficult to pivot quickly. However, if you're integrated with Marketo, then PFL is as scalable as your database and marketing strategy! The sky is the limit in terms of creativity. Post launch, the program is hands-off apart from report monitoring and potential optimization tweaks.
