Adobe Acrobat DC
As a document reader and file export software it hits the marks that are necessary to make the software useful in a business environment. It is also helpful to get an entire team on a license of adobe without the need to break the bank on full license structures for everyone that might not use the entirety of the paid version of the software. Less useful are the document manipulation and search functions available to the free DC version of the software package. Full Adobe likely has all the bells and whistles, but it would be nice to have some of the functionality in the freeware software.

Where several of our companies facilities are located, we are very remote on military bases. So, using regular postal service to get our paperwork out wasn't a good option and was very time-consuming. It also wasn't very secure or a 'sure thing' that the paperwork would get to where it needed to go. So, DocuSign is a HUGE timesaver and money saver. Our parents can't come to our site, so we needed an efficient way to get our paperwork signed within our legal timeframe without being near the recipients. DocuSign fit the bill, and we love it!

Pros
Adobe Acrobat DC
- Adobe Acrobat works particularly well with opening documents quickly and not having compatibility issues with various sources of documents.
- Also, if you do not need some of the more advanced features that the more expensive professional version provides, there are free or less expensive versions that better suit your needs. that flexibility is welcome
- The UI of zooming into documents that might have smaller font or unclear information is very helpful, and generally, anyone can sit down and figure out how to work the program with very little training. It's very intuitive.

Cons
Adobe Acrobat DC
- Adobe Acrobat DC has a learning curve when it comes to working with the software. The program takes some getting used to but overall is not bad.
- One thing that can get very frustrating is if you are editing a document, you have to click a separate function to "add text" then back to the edit to continue making additional edits. This can get very tedious to switch back and forth constantly.
- There seem to be unnecessary extra movements that need to be made when editing something, if you want to insert an image it is another function, add text its another function. This can just be time consuming and irritating.

DocuSign
- DocuSign's overall UI is a bit clunky and not amazingly well designed. I'd love it if they gave it a thoughtful design (although just reskinning it wouldn't really be much better).
- We've been underwhelmed at times by their Microsoft word direct import. I always convert to PDF before uploading documents at this point.
- The email subjects the generate are just downright wretched. It would be better to *make* the user fill out a subject line than the ones that they autofill and then happily send out to recipients.

I can't imagine doing business without DocuSign now. I would never want to go back to the way we used to do things. The "new way" is "the way" is "the right way." We can honestly be proud of a "one right way" process and not have to suffer through "5 ways for 5 days."

Every time I think of something I need to accomplish, whether it be creating a form that has fillable boxes, or converting one type of file to another, Adobe Acrobat can perform that function, and with a minimum of research necessary on deciphering how to accomplish the task. Just having features but being too hard to use can sink a program, and luckily this program is easy but capable.

I think it is pretty easy to use from an end-user perspective. When I receive a document I need to sign, I know straight from the beginning which area I need to sign. There is the possibility of designing a signature automatically for you which is pretty convenient and accelerates the process.

Overall, Adobe Acrobat DC performs at an acceptable rate. The software takes some time to load, but nothing that is unreasonable when launching a document. The program responds at a reasonable speed and performs well when operating tasks. It takes time for it to evaluate a document when you request to edit the document, but that is understandable considering it is identifying words and such in the document.

I have never needed the assistance of Adobe support because of the ease of use. I would not be able to accurately rate the customer support at this time. Because of the increased billing requirements now taking place with subscription based services, I could only hope they would have tier-1 support for all users.

I'd give them a 10, but there has been 1 or 2 small cases that seemed to fall to the wayside, but I was able to call them up and get them resolved. We were having a bad implementation night (after midnight) and we needed assistance from Docusign. They were able to get an engineer to help us in the early morning hours

We tried Flip PDF Pro for Mac, but the software didn't have the accessibility features we need. Plus, most of our web agents across campus are working on PCs, so it didn't make sense to use software they wouldn't have access to use. Adobe Acrobat DC was a great universal solution that fit our needs

- This product is a lifesaver in the business world. Support was a little spotty when the program was first implemented but once setup was complete it has been a breeze to use.
- Adobe Acrobat it's a perfect tool for reading and editing PDFs. I've done much more faster reports based on the summaries of the pdfs by searching the right words, doing partial screenshots, etc. I've created, filled, signed and sent forms easily
- To save time, create professional looking documents, the ability to protect documents for clients. I have realized that this program has eliminated the headache of switching back and forth between Word documents and new PDFs by having the ability to edit and enhance all in one program

- In real estate we all ways say time kills deals so if we can get a document out the door, have it reviewed and signed by multiple parties simultaneously, it helps us ensure deals are completed quickly.
- More than half our deals are executed electronically which saves time in the car, paper and hassle.
