[Square is well suited for] Any small business / independent contractor with little to medium business flow where a monthly fee just doesn't make sense. If you are performing large transactions or have a lot of business / a lot of people using square readers then an actual flat rate from a bank / provider would likely be a better option.

- Creatio's client success team is super. The team is collaborative, solution-oriented, and client-driven. We have weekly meetings with the team. They show up prepared with solutions/ideas to business requests and they are clearly engaged.
- Creatio's infrastructure team has been critical to our ability to execute our cloud strategy. They have worked with us to set up our testing and production environments within Azure, assisted in testing, and are responsive and flexible to our unique requirements.
- Creatio has been very flexible to requests for customization. We have taken their low-code out-of-the-box solution and "Ringlerized" it. The benefit for us is an application that meets our niche business needs.

- Have more options for businesses with more credit card transactions such as monthly or discounted per transaction once a certain number is reached.
- Have functionality to allow for a typed card number without the higher fee if the software verifies there is a hardware/read error with the card.

The user interface of Creatio is quite friendly. It is intuitive for new users to start using the software. It is also fairly straightforward to setup. Business users are able to become productive with Creatio in a short amount of time due to an easy to use design. I find the design intuitive overall.

Support is really good. Maybe it is because we had a dedicated support manager. But still, all issues were resolved timely. There were too many at the beginning, but now when we solved most of the problems we contact our support manager mostly before the updates. We have a testing platform to test all updates.

The user-friendliness of Creatio was a big selling point along with the low-code initiatives, both of which were important to our business. With Salesforce, unlimited wasn't really unlimited. You couldn't deploy an on-site instance and the overall cost of the system far outweighed the ROI. These are all things Creatio offers, out-of-the-box.

The only other service similar to Square I have any interaction with is PayPal here, it works in a very similar manner, and at the time had the same exact fee schedule. It has the added perk of going directly into your PayPal account if this is a service you use a lot of for your business. It (at the time) did not have any additional readers or peripherals such as NFC or Chip readers, but that may have changed now. Over all I'd say they are pretty close to each other performance wise, but Square has a bigger user base for the card reader specifically.

- This has allowed me to accept credit / debit transactions without having to have a monthly subscription to a service and lose money on times of no to little use, allowing me to have a broader customer range as checks are risky.
- All of my initial equipment was free and there were no startup costs so my return was immediate.
- The small fee taken out of the transaction is very much worth the ability to accept nearly all plastic transactions.
