At the time, it proved to be the best choice across all other competitors based on our needs.
NetBase is exactly what we needed and were looking for. Perhaps down the road we may require a much more enterprise-level platform, but for the past 3+ years, NetBase provides us with exactly what it is we need.
I did not get a chance to truly get involved with Sprinklr as I did with Netbase. However, I spent enough time to realize that the two serve very different purposes. Where Netbase is great for tracking and discovery, Sprinklr has its advantage with Media organization and …
Netbase is our chosen tool for a number of reasons including NLP capabilities, functionality, depth of data available, constantly evolving features and easy to use interface. We also found our reps to be extremely helpful, knowledgeable and have our best interests at heart.
The customer service is AMAZING compared to other providers! It also offers unlimited topics and mentions, which was not offered by some other providers. Overall, I think NetBase is by far one of the most intuitive and exemplary solutions for social media listening.
Far and away superior to the others. I selected NetBase for their NLP capabilities, reporting tools, ease of use and most importantly the team/people at NetBase.
All are good for seeing the posts but it's the features of the applications that set them apart. Netbase goes above and beyond the others, I feel, for allowing you to do what you need and thoroughly analysis the social content.
Along with NetBase, we use New Media Measure as another useful analytic tool. New Media Measure is good because it's more specific as far as including social media platforms go. New Media Measure is better for pulling data but it's not used really for sentiment analysis or …
NetBase provides a higher degree of accuracy and more flexibility to control the analysis (filtering, etc) in the platform. The platform is also very user-friendly and doesn't have a steep learning curve. The NLP is powerful and provides deeper insights into sentiment, …
These two product offerings are similar and both are advantageous to use. Unfortunately, I have limited experience using Adobe Social so I can't attest to the full functionality of this platform. That being said, I prefer the design and layout to NetBase, but I would like the …

In my opinion, NetBase is a superior product to the competitive products that we have either used or evaluated. NetBase has better features, better data, and great support.
We liked it's features better than the competition and the costs were also lower and more inline with our budget. Their sales team was responsive prior to our selecting the application and their post-sales engagement has also been very good. They haven't disappeared.
I use the product, but I did not research other similar products. I have not had experience with other programs, but my experience with NetBase has been very good.
The only other system we would consider would be Radian6. The reason NetBase won our business is because Radian6 has not updated its software as frequently as NetBase.

Netbase has better NLP capabilities, as well as custom dashboards and more languages/global coverage compared to Sysomos.
I strongly believe that a social intelligence team needs a variety of social listening tools to make for effective monitoring and reporting. Talkwalker is a good complement to other social intelligence tools, especially because of some of its unique capabilities such as its …
Sprout social seemed like a really great tool, but a lot of the features on Talkwalker were more what we were looking for in terms of reporting and the deeper listening software available. Social listening seemed more new to Sprout Social so we wanted a product with more …
Talkwalker only stacks up against these other paid products in one sense: It is the only free tool with any degree of functionality. If you need a more accurate and precise listening tool, Talkwalker isn't the best option. However, if you aren't ready to take on a monthly …
I have yet to find another tool that would provide me with such a detailed information per query. It's such a find! Plus, I get separate emails per a search query and I'm able to archive those emails to the appropriate folders and always have a way of looking back. It's very …
For our needs, Talkwalker is the best 'all-rounder' in the market. Some of the other platforms focus more on certain media types (social in particular) or specific geographies (western markets or English speaking markets). Talkwalker covers all media and all markets very well. …
Talkwalker was not only more affordable but more accessible and customizable than the competition. Whether it came down to developing more bespoke insights, white labeling and branding, or creating individual views into the data, Talkwalker provided all of the tools to do just …
Talkwalker's ability to instantly search two years of past content (versus 30-60) days for most competitors is a convincing argument for clients such as PR agencies who often need to look back at 2 years of a prospect's coverage for a new business pitch
In my use of [NetBase] Quid, I found the tool particularly suitable for curating pertinent content. It allowed me to develop more comprehensive analysis at a larger scale, all while substantially reducing the amount of research time needed. It is also a plus that [NetBase] Quid is delivered as a web app. I did some of my [NetBase] Quid work on a low-end Chromebook without issues.
Talkwalker is well suited for big companies and agencies that are looking for a long-term solution to keep track of the industry and/or their brands and key competitors. While setup requires a bit of dedication (especially in terms of custom filters and tags), once it's done, the tool will give the user a lot of flexibility to analyze the conversations and find the relevant results that answer the business questions. Companies just looking for a tool to track a short time period, or simple things like Twitter hashtags, won't take advantage of the full capabilities of this tool. Therefore, they could feel frustrated when comparing the outcomes/usage versus the costs.
Natural Language Processing: If the point of social media analysis is to understand large volumes of text that you can't read yourself, then the automated analysis is key to this. Netbase is the best that we have seen in the market, and this is the cornerstone of the product for us.
Dashboard design: Past tools we have used have involved pulling data from the tool, analysing and charting in (typically) Excel, then putting together into a Powerpoint presentation to share with clients & colleagues. Netbase's dashboard tools enable reports to be templated and generated as PDFs. Cutting out large chunks of manual administrative work means that more reports can be delivered more frequently with no added time/cost at our and.
Customer support - although we are UK-based and the Netbase support staff are primarily US-based, we have found their support staff to be fast, responsive and very helpful.
Talkwalker helps you monitor online mentions so you can stay aware of what's being said about your company. Social listening is more important than ever.
Talkwalker also helps you delve deeper into the social insights to track patterns and give you data that can be helpful in the future as you plan your marketing efforts.
Talkwalker is one of the only products like it that incorporates AI and is, according to some, on the cutting edge in its field.
We've had a good experience using the tool and have invested quite a bit of time training the internal team on how to get the most benefit out of it. There would need to be a compelling reason or business case to port over all of our existing topics and tool know-how to another platform.
Very simple to use, quick to pick up on the key principles, and a task-centric design (ie. Topics to set up what you want to analyze, Analysis to do the exploration/analysis, and Dashboards to pull results and findings together to generate reports.) All intuitive, drag & drop etc.
NetBase constantly updates the platform with features. The platforms ability to analyze complex social listening topics is exceptional. Its fast and gives you the ability to create standardized reports for a quick topic analysis. Additionally, the standard overview tab provides the topic at a glance and assists in quickly identifying areas to further analyze. Great product with excellent support behind it!
Talkwalker gets the job done at a basic level. It performs regular indexing of existing webpages and tracks the instances in which a particular brand or company is mentioned. Especially for being free, this is an awesome resource. However, it should be said that this product does not perform nearly at the level of the paid options.
They are very helpful, but can sometimes be a little too quick and not explain things in as great a depth as we would like. They have great staff and programs, and we don't really have any other major complaints. Support is very responsive and helpful when need be.
We had an internal implementation meeting with the NetBase team as well as a business seat implementation for one of our clients. I would highly recommend having all stakeholders attend an implementation meeting as they can understand the power of this platform.
NetBase provides a higher degree of accuracy and more flexibility to control the analysis (filtering, etc) in the platform. The platform is also very user-friendly and doesn't have a steep learning curve. The NLP is powerful and provides deeper insights into sentiment, behaviors and opinions compared to other platforms that are very topical and less user-friendly.
I have yet to find another tool that would provide me with such a detailed information per query. It's such a find! Plus, I get separate emails per a search query and I'm able to archive those emails to the appropriate folders and always have a way of looking back. It's very useful for building monthly reports.
Positive - NetBase allows us to quickly gather a high level over view of a topic, which helps for new business pitch and being able to inform the account teams of basic information.
Negative - We have to use other tools to gather news, which affects our budget.
Having learned how to better leverage the system has resulted in a greater diversity in projects and clients that we didn't have the capabilities to service before, which has in turn increased our visibility to the wider company.
It has reduced the amount of time it takes to do reporting from traditional desk research and utilizing other monitoring tools.
