Likelihood to Recommend This tool enables the visual management needed in many offshore teams to easily and quickly see the pending work, work in progress and completed work. For teams that work with a waterfall methodology and do not have AGILE internalized, I believe there are other solutions from Planview or other providers.
Read full review Well suited to manage work across a large team. Easy to setup. I would recommend a less expensive price point. This has been the biggest issue with Wrike in my opinion. Compared to other PM systems, Wrike is always the most expensive. My team members also give the feedback that things are hard to find or that the projects get “weedsy” (because there are too many tasks/subtasks/etc.)
Read full review Pros Visual kanban board that is easy to customize as the team's needs change Real time collaboration allowing teams working remotely to stay up to date on current status Allows versatility for how a team needs to capture details on the work at hand by utilizing card icons, card types and custom data points Card scoring is easy to setup and provides the team the ability to set values to better prioritize their backlog Ability to add card automation to take out some of the repetitive manual actions Read full review Wrike has been consistent in emailing any updates or changes to each person involved in each task. Wrike has a simple to navigate website, with quick access to each task. Wrike keeps all data files located at the top of the task for quick reference, which makes it easier for each team member to find. Wrike adds date tags as well as any edited or deleted notes where we are able to cross-reference any major changes that may have been made. Read full review Cons Ability to add more than 1 visual cue to the card. We use custom icons and sometimes more than 1 is appropriate but you have to choose which is most important since only 1 can be applied. Better visibility to board access from the user administration screens. Currently have to run 1-2 reports to see this information. Would like to be able to click on a user within Configure Users and see what boards they have access to quickly. Read full review The email notifications that are automatically sent from Wrike when something is done are easy for users to miss or ignore. Reporting can be limited. You have to create workarounds for collecting/storing the name of the person submitting the form in instances where they do not have their own Wrike license. A more user-friendly interface, especially for those less familiar with project management software, would enhance overall accessibility. Read full review Likelihood to Renew we are happy with the tool and the service and continuos improvement of the tool so there is no need yet to change to another one.
Read full review I wish that Wrike had more drag and drop functionality that would be connected to assignee and also I wish that the finish date of a task would update to the date where you checked completed. It does not do that. Also finishing a task doesn't move the start date of the next task it "protects your time in that way", but our management team wants us to quickly see what we have down the pipeline rather than having to scroll down the list of upcoming tasks.
Read full review Usability LeanKit isn't the best designed Kanban system I've seen, but overall it's pretty usable. The boards I've used are pretty complex, so it can be difficult to find things. I found that searching and filtering for specific cards was somewhat of a challenge. Dragging a card from one lane to another is kind of a fun way to get things done though.

Read full review Wrike is an intuitive platform that allows users to easily create and manage workflows, addressing various team needs. The automation features in the standard version are certainly useful for handling basic tasks, such as setting reminders, changing statuses, and automatically assigning tasks. These automations greatly simplify daily operations and help keep projects organized with minimal oversight. However, in the standard version, automations are somewhat limited when it comes to handling more complex workflows. For example, if you need to integrate projects with tasks or automate more intricate processes involving multiple stages or dependencies, the basic version of Wrike may not be sufficient. In these cases, Wrike Integrate becomes a game-changer, offering more customization options and allowing for more sophisticated and interconnected automations, further optimizing complex workflows. In summary, the standard version covers common automation needs, but for more advanced requirements, Wrike Integrate is highly recommended.
Read full review Reliability and Availability Not experienced any outage
Read full review Over two years of (almost) daily usage without outages. Don't remember any errors. I give it 9 only because some Wrike plugins (for online document edit) are based on
NPAPI architecture. These types of plugins are being phased out in new browsers, and NPAPI plugins are disabled by default in recent versions of Chrome so you have to do some browser adjustments when you switch browsers or move to another computer.

Read full review Wrike tasks loads fine, but I hate clicking files and wait for a bit of time since it is powerpoint or word, Wrike assumes I want to open those on Wrike. My suggestion is to link it to office 365 so we do not need Wrike based decoder for PPTX and DOCX

Read full review We've had so many questions during the establishment of Wrike for our team, and the Wrike support team has exceeded our expectations. Our team is naturally curious, and the Wrike support team has always been willing to hold conversations about how we can make an idea work, to show us hidden features that delight us, and to help us plan ways to build out projects efficiently. They meet our questions with multiple solutions and best practices

Read full review Online Training I love the Wrike training options. Wrike Discover has tons of courses, learning plans, certifications, etc. This is an area where Wrike definitely shines! I wish these resources were more in your face for new people, because it seems like a lot of coworkers didn't know all of this training was available to them.
Read full review Implementation Rating Very easy.
Read full review There are a lot of bells and whistles in Wrike, and not all of it is easy or intuitive to understand once it's plopped in your lap. It's easier when there are a few choice people who understand Wrike as a platform and articulate it in such a way where it makes it easy to pass it along to others in the group
Read full review Alternatives Considered Originally, we had evaluated two other tools next to Planview LeanKit: Kanbantool and Kanbanflow. The latter was a close contestant for productive use, as it was also very customizable and a joy to work with and look at. It also had lower user fees and a mobile integration. In the end, we picked Planview LeanKit because of several reasons: Aesthetics: The look was much more clean and professional. Reporting: It was obvious from the start that we could use Planview LeanKit as a tool for improvement. API: We needed to integrate the Kanban into our central systems and Planview LeanKit API was (and still is) a way to do it. Card Headers: This sounds like a simple thing, but the headers above the titles fit our work perfectly and looked perfect, which helped the decision.
Read full review I have not used other products except
Microsoft Teams channels with file sharing and standard sharing from Adobe, text and email messaging, and Zoom/
gotomeeting sharing. This is the first product that I have used that had the functionality and platform where the sharing is simplistic. It is better than standard sharing through email or other simple forms because everything stays together.

Read full review The sky is the limit for what can be done in Wrike. We started with 1 use case and within 5 months we migrated several key business practices over to Wrike because they were easier to manage. Use cases so far: process improvement, management review, corrective actions, maintenance requests, month-end financial closing, and document management. As we grow, it's easy to imagine putting even more into Wrike where it becomes a cornerstone for how we do business

It makes it clear who is responsible for what project so that there is more accountability at our company. It helps our project manager schedule new projects in a way that we all can see.
