We're using Adobe Learning Manager to develop, deliver and manage learning experiences for our Marketing Technology stack to internal marketing stakeholders and agency partners across the globe. This training is part of our digital readiness and adoption initiatives, which are key to our digital transformation strategy.
  • Integrate with the Adobe Marketing Technology Stack (AEM, Analytics, Marketo).
  • Provide for personalized learning journeys.
  • Allow localization of content.
  • Support for multiple simultaneous SSO options.
  • Provide for more in-depth reporting and customization of reporting.
  • Integrate with other Adobe Learning offerings (ADLS, Experience League).
ALM is well suited for organizations already employing the Adobe Experience Cloud platform and products since it includes out of the box integrations with Adobe Experience Manager and Marketo. The ability to create personalized learning journeys and automate communications to users based on learning status and progress is also very useful.

Great LMS

We have used this for three years and the only difficulty we had was the migration from our old LMS. I’m sure it had been improved since then, but it was very confusing and time consuming. Otherwise, we like it. It works well with our use needs of housing our required training courses.
  • Easy to use.
  • Adobe is always making updates.
  • Customizable to our needs.
  • Easy for trainees to use.
  • Migration of prior LMS was difficult.
  • Make fonts customizable so we cash use or marketing fonts of choice to brand it.
It’s really easy to use for learners and administrators. I like that Adobe continuously makes updates and changes to improve the program as a whole. I would recommend it to others because it works well and the support is great.

We use Adobe Learning Manager for internal and external software education, employee professional development and compliance.
  • Updating of modules is well thought out and seamless.
  • User interface is readily easy to navigate (intuitive).
  • User set up and security is robust enough to assure people have the access they need and nothing more.
  • The UX is a bit dated.
  • The back end needs more tools for authors and admins when you have thousands of courses.
  • Filtering ability after search needs more options.
  • Need to be able to exempt certain content from reporting for HIPPA compliance.
Adobe Learning Manager is well suited to customer education and compliance.

We currently used Adobe Learning Manager to support the front line call center agents learning on products, procedures, and soft skills on sales and customer service. Adobe Learning Manager addresses access and accountability issues with training materials. It primarily impacts internal employees, however, our client uses it as a repository for their process documents.
  • User interfaces.
  • Account creation and management.
  • Look and feel controls.
  • Easier admin use and functionality.
  • E-Learning result reporting.
  • Forced gamification elements.
Though better than most of the venerable LMS products on the market, Adobe Learning Manager has high aspirations that end up falling short of expectations in my opinion. Not that a user should throw the baby out with the bathwater though because there are a lot of great features that make it better than competitors. The problems arise from an over promising of features that are not as easy to implement as advertised.

Adobe Learning Manager is used organization wide in order to maintain high levels of compliance thru various forms of compliance and regulatory training. We use Adobe Learning Manager to make sure we can properly provide our employees a proactive learning environment where users can grow and develop through various forms of education. Additionally in order to maintain accurate and proper reporting.
  • Adobe Success Managers.
  • User interface.
  • Ease of use.
  • Internal and external user management.
  • Managers tool.
It depends on the training program. Adobe Learning Manager meets a lot of learning needs as well as giving organizations and teams flexibility in terms how they want to meet their business and learning objectives.

We are creating custom content for Healthcare Organizations nationwide and are using Adobe Learning Manager as the LMS platform. We are creating a learning ecosystem for new and current end users within the organization teaching them how to effectively use their electronic health records. We have experienced that our training is improving end user adoption, reducing physician burnout and enhancing the overall learning experience improving adoption and retention.
  • Creates an easy navigation journey for the learner.
  • It allows end users to stop and take notes in the middle of learning as well as print notes.
  • Easy search functionality.
  • An easier way to "rewatch" completed learning.
  • An easier way to "watch again"...without having to search or go to the My Learning section.
Adobe Learning Manager is well suited for any learner because it easy to use, extremely inviting, makes the learning experience fun, and ensures retention. We create micro learning modules that help the user pick up and/or search for things they need to know vs what they don't need to know. Physicians specifically only need to "know" certain information within the EHR and our learning journey using Adobe Learning Manager makes this super effective.

We train healthcare professionals across the country on how to use medical software and EMRs. We do this by creating custom content for these healthcare organizations and hosting it on Adobe Learning Manager by creating a peer site for the organizations. We offer content and service to an industry that is struggling to keep up with the demand for IT and to meet government regulations and best practice workflows.
  • Search feature.
  • Note-taking feature.
  • Ability to link assets/resources to courses that are downloadable.
  • Going back to a course or module once it is completed and restarting it.
  • The login process for a new user is tedious and most physicians do not want the extra steps.
  • As an administrator, having to switch roles to work in a course etc.
  • Licensing is not friendly for an industry that doesn't keep the same user in the system for a year. Training is done and then the user no longer needs the license.
We believe that Adobe Learning Manager is the best option for Healthcare organization training because it incorporates the way adults learn in our current world. We search online, preview a video, and then try what ever it is we are trying to learn. Adobe Learning Manager allows a learner to search what the topic they need to learn and then pull up the relevant results. Our learners are intelligent and busy people that appreciate the quick micro modules that we are able to present in this platform.

We used Adobe Captivate and Learning Manager to design and develop training for both corporate and retail Apple employees. This included engineers, program managers, Tech & merch pros in the stores, and so on. Apple is a very private company and so using cloud-based SaaS is a bit difficult therefore using native Adobe programs is the best option.
  • Single unified platform.
  • Ease of use.
  • Accessibility.
  • Personalization and curation.
  • Guidance and training.
  • Easier integration with Articulate and Rise 360.
  • Simple, modern templates and graphics.
Adobe Learning Manager is perfect for an organization that's already bought in to the Adobe suite of products, including Captivate. If you have a large body of employees and/or various personas and learning journeys you need to support, it's a really viable solution. For companies that only have, say, internal employees to train, the number of features might be a bit of an overkill.

Adobe Learning Manager is used by our training department and by all the departments across our organization. The reporting side of the Adobe Learning Manager certainly resolves reporting issues. We have internal users as well.
  • Reporting.
  • Uploading Adobe Captivate courses.
  • Create users.
  • More customized reports.
Adobe Learning Manager is a great tool to release training to the entire organization at once. This is particularly great for annual compliance training.

Adobe Learning Manager is being considered for use across the organization. It is being evaluated to onboard its new hires and certify members of the operations team. The company is currently using a traditional classroom training model to train its employees and is looking to use Adobe Learning Manager to implement its e-learning strategy, for more flexibility, to reduce time to go live, automate training administration tasks and reduce training delivery cost.
  • Blended learning paths.
  • Certifications.
  • User management.
  • Automated learning assignments.
  • Ability to create assessments and question banks directly on the LMS.
  • Checklists for learners to fulfill.
  • Skill and competency mapping.
I have found Adobe Learning Manager to be very flexible and can be used in a variety of ways. It's easy to set it up for small organizations and also provides the scalability and performance required by larger organizations. I love the ability to reuse seats for one-time users and also the ability to split seats and create different portals for customers, partners and employees. The only scenarios where I see Adobe Learning Manager being less appropriate would be for organizations wanting e-commerce functionality and also in scenarios where organizations want assessment creation capabilities in the LMS.

Adobe Learning Manager is our current LMS for our American employees and on site for indirect employees. Adobe Learning Manager helped us to scale training quickly across multiple locations and at home employees.
  • Provides solutions for user access and accessibility.
  • Ease of use.
  • The ability to handle multiple file types helped us to incorporate previous trainings.
  • Reporting is intuitive and often underutilized because of this.
  • In my opinion, it lacks style, color, and design. It's not pretty to look at I believe.
Adobe Learning Manager provides solutions for a remote workforce and is accessible to all employees via app, web or learning portal. Adobe Learning Manager reporting is not dynamic and cannot provide direct solutions without weeding through charts, graphs and drop downs I've found.

We use Adobe Learning Manager across our organization to track compliance training, new hire and operations training.
  • Tracks training.
  • Delivers SCORM content.
  • Delivers training that contains various media.
  • Tracks instructor-led and computer-based training.
  • Detailed reports require a PowerBI plug-in; it would be great to have more robust and versatile reporting directly within the application.
  • Would be great to be able to upload CSV files for attendance for instructor-led courses.
Adobe Learning Manager is able to track blended learning really well. The reporting for computer based training is intuitive. The activity modules allow us to track diverse training modes.

We use Adobe Learning Manager across the organization. It is used by internal employees as well as consultants and vendors. It is used to deliver as well as track training. We use most of the functions the LMS offers including scheduling live training session and uploading self-paced modules.
  • Intuitive to find different functions.
  • Aesthetically pleasing for the admin and user.
  • Easy to organize training content into Learning Paths, etc.
  • Simple and easy-to-read reports.
  • It would be nice to be able to delete things when needed.
Adobe Learning Manager works great for uploading content, assigning to users, and running reports.

As an LMS by our customers. As a partner of Adobe, we do custom dev and content for them. Our role is more in implementations than actual use. We see great traction for Adobe Learning Manager from various verticals like manufacturing, retail, travel, health care, and construction from various parts of the world.

We use Adobe Captivate Prime to house CBTs and assessments that we design for our employees.
  • Adobe Captivate Prime makes it easy for me to organize Computer Based Training (CBTs) into curriculum sets.
  • Adobe Captivate Prime makes it easy to evaluate and training students remotely.
  • Adobe Captivate Prime can accommodate large numbers of students that need to be trained at the same time.
  • Setting up time values for each CBT is somewhat difficult in Adobe Captivate Prime
  • Adobe Captivate Prime's way of adding and deleting users could be improved.
  • Retrieving learning metrics could be improved in Adobe Captivate Prime
Adobe Captivate Prime is well suited for training very large groups remotely that are geographically widely dispersed. When a previous company that I worked for won a FEMA contract, I was pleased to see how well Adobe Captivate Prime handled what could have been utter chaos.

We use Adobe Captivate Prime with our International Students doing ELICOS courses in Australia. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, this software has helped us make a move to online learning and has been great at training our students and staff. It addresses the lack of face-to-face training by making a comprehensive digital learning experience.
  • Easy to use
  • Free trial
  • Modern style
  • Reliable
  • It's more expensive that its competitors
  • Not widely known by general audience
  • So many options that it can be quite daunting
I would say that Adobe Captivate Prime is a great software in 2022 when you need to make a move to the digital world and have less face to face interactions with customers/clients/employees. It will be great to train new staff that would be working from home and does presentations with new clients without having to meet them in person.

Adobe Captivate Prime is being used as the main Learning Management System for delivering all the trainings in the entire organization. The main problem it solves is that it keeps the user engagement level high due to the customizations and automations it offers. It is only used for internal trainings currently.
  • Structuring content
  • Assigning via making groups
  • Auto-assigning once previous training is over
  • Unable to generate customized certifications without help of customer support
  • Integrations can be made simpler and without using code
It's most appropriate if you have a large user base and there is complexity that needs to be designed in terms of assigning content. Also very good for keeping learners engaged.
