Our company uses BlueJeans for a single client account. This client prefers that all meetings and interactive communication be conducted via BlueJeans. Approximately 1/4 of our organization works on projects supporting this client and as such have become familiar with the BlueJeans interface.
  • BlueJeans has provided a relatively easy to use interactive platform to share files and images via screen sharing during discussions. Typically any participants can easily transfer the commonly viewed screen to their own content for visual reference.
  • Meeting participants can easily share live video with the rest of the people in the meeting to promote better and more productive communication
  • The chat window is easy to use to share other thoughts with the group without interrupting a presentation or otherwise being a distraction
  • The scheduling tool in the BlueJeans application has never been useful, and as a policy nobody in our company uses it. We exclusively use the BlueJeans comm add-in in Microsoft Outlook for creating new meetings or updating existing ones.
  • The record button has not always been consistent. I have had several occasions in the past where I just could not even find it, or it wouldn't work. In all cases, I confirmed that I had not exceeded my limit on recorded time.
Great for project meetings that are scheduled in advance and will benefit from screen shared content and/or live video interaction. It does not work as well as Skype for spur of the moment group discussions or day-to-day daily communications.

BlueJeans is used as a video conference system for internal and external meetings. Primarily it is used by Project Managers onboarding new clients, as we are able to easily get connected without tool issues. Our operations team uses this tool throughout the organization for formal meetings or training events. This is especially true if we need video recording features as well.

BlueJeans has enough advantages over other video conference software that we decided to use it and continue to use it. We also use Google Hangouts in our organization and switch between both of these platforms.
  • International and US-based numbers in every invite is a plus for this platform. The software we were using previously didn't have a conference bridge built in and we were using a third party conference software for audio with the other video conference software. Now we just use BlueJeans and if someone is having internet issues they just call in.
  • BlueJeans integrates with Gmail and makes it easy to set up every meeting automatically with BlueJeans information. This simplifies sending out invites so you don't have to remember switching anything.
  • You can set up BlueJeans to either default with the app or the browser. This makes it easier on clients when they don't have to install any software.
  • There seems to be a slight ~1-second delay in the video feed. This can cause some situations where it can sound like you are talking over someone when you didn't mean to.
  • Sharing your screen requires a plugin which causes a delay sometimes. If this plugin could be downloaded in the background while they install that would be ideal.
  • Please bring back remote access, being able to take over someone's computer was a very nice feature and it would be good to have it back.
BlueJeans works well if you are looking for a platform that has enterprise level controls and you need video recording. We use it for onboarding new clients as the platform integrates with room systems, different operating systems etc. BlueJeans has controls in place and reporting where you can see usage and manage the team.

BlueJeans is not ideal if you are a single person just looking for something similar to FaceTime to have video conferences. As you can find a variety of solutions out there such as Google Hangouts. Bluejeans works more for companies that need video conference solution and enterprise controls.

BlueJeans is the only application we use for all of our audio/video conference calls. The entire organization uses BlueJeans. BlueJeans enhances all of our client communications and makes sharing information across multiple departments/countries/timezones seamless. We particularly use screen sharing to discuss documents which are too sensitive to send via email. The confidentiality of BlueJeans is key.
  • Screen sharing is a key component of the app and is why we continue to use it vs. other "free" services like google chat.
  • Country dial in lists are extensive and they provide an alternative when dealing with team members who do not have access to an ideal internet connection.
  • The app is particularly useful and makes it very simple to dial in.
  • I don't have any particular improvements I can suggest for the service.
BlueJeans works either as a laptop application or phone application, so it's well suited for the entire team. It has a low bandwidth setting for calls that include team members who are in settings where connectivity is a challenge. The clarity of calls and functionality of BlueJeans makes it the superior connection tool vs. Google Chat and others.

BlueJeans was used by our entire business across Australia, India and the UK.
  • Video conference/meetings.
  • Screen sharing sessions internally or with clients.
  • Audio conference dial-in options with local number for each global region.
  • New version of desktop client removed ability to provide remote control when screen sharing.
BlueJeans provided us with a one-stop shop for video and audio conferencing as well as screen sharing and remote troubleshooting. There were no significant weaknesses with this product.

BlueJeans is used across all sites, teams and departments throughout the organisation.

We utilize the full suite of products, BlueJeans is our primary real time collaboration tool, we no longer user audio only conferencing services.
  • Video conferencing is a core capability with high quality and performance.
  • Audio conferencing is exceptional with the Dolby Digital engine for background noise reduction.
  • The pace of change and development is extremely fast and well delivered
  • Rate of developments results in a regularly changing environment requiring additional application deployments.
Good for situations where a world wide single source video conferencing platform is required.

As we are a virtual team we use BlueJeans daily to keep in contact with each other. We find BlueJeans highly reliable and never have come across any issues throughout the 12 months we have been using it. From time to time we invite other colleagues from our company to join our video conference and find seeing each other face to face leads to much more effective communication.
  • Video capability
  • High quality Audio
  • Desktop sharing
  • Video recording
  • Addition of private chat feature
  • Auto startup with windows
  • Automatic country detection for dial-in numbers
BlueJeans is great for a virtual team as it allows us to see each other. I probably wouldn’t use BlueJeans as much if I worked in an office environment with my colleagues.

We use BlueJeans within our department rather than the whole organization. It is used for internal calls if the staff is working off-site, calls with our external product development team and for webinars with our subscribers. We need to share screens to demonstrate our collection of e-books and BlueJeans allows us to do this easily.
  • Ease of inviting and adding contacts to a call
  • Quality of audio is good and the chat box allows one of us to monitor messages while the other is sharing her screen
  • Recordings arrive punctually and it's easy to share the link
  • Quality of the recordings is good
  • Send an automated reminder to attendees scheduled on a call, or have the option to turn that feature on.
We find that BlueJeans works particularly well if we have several people invited to a call. Attendees rarely get dropped and the sound quality is good. Sharing screens works well. We particularly like the ease of sharing the recording link (this was a problem with the previous system that we used for webinars).

We use BlueJeans company-wide to take meetings internally with other employees and externally with clients/vendors/etc. We are a globally distributed company with offices in 7 countries across the US, EMEA, and APJ. It's great for being able to easily connect users worldwide to communicate with each other. It excels at allowing users to connect from a variety of different endpoints: laptops, iOS, Android devices, conference rooms, and calling in via phone, etc.
  • Allows users to connect from multiple different endpoints seamlessly. They can join from their laptop (app or browser without installing anything), smartphone, a conference room, call in for audio from any phone, etc.
  • An easier to use interface than many competitors. It's not overloaded with cruft or confusing options, making it easier to get connected and meeting with others quickly.
  • A focus on end-user features that are requested. Over the years, they have consistently added features that have been requested.
  • Minor quality lag behind competitors. Users who use both BlueJeans and Zoom will often speak of the quality of Zoom calls being higher.
  • Still missing some secondary features that other competitors have. Things like private chat, multiple screen sharing and control, and breakout "rooms" aren't currently existing.
BlueJeans works great when I use it internally with other employees. I've experienced issues when I try to connect with external clients whose IT either blocks users from installing applications or just flat out tell users to not use other video conferencing platforms other than their own. In those cases, you're better of joining the client's video call.

BlueJeans is used by our entire company. It is used by our sales, engineering, marketing, legal, finance, HR, IT, and customer support organizations. As a global company, BlueJeans lets us stay in contact with our colleagues in all of our offices, as well as interact with our customers. It is integrated into our room systems, and employees also use it directly on their laptops.
  • Strong "system in a box" solution with Dolby Voice Rooms.
  • Cross-platform with support for room systems, Mac, Windows, and mobile devices.
  • The Mac OS app could be optimized to use fewer system resources.
  • Image fidelity of screen sharing could be improved.
  • Better support for Bluetooth headphones/microphones (can be quite buggy and frustrating when moving between meetings)
BlueJeans is well suited for companies that have employees in multiple offices, as it can cut down on travel and help enable communication.

Our company has locations in Germany and California. We are supporting customers in North America and Europe. As a software development company for customized IVD compliant medical device solutions, verbal communication is part of our daily business. There is no day without several meetings between various team members on several locations. BlueJeans is supporting us very well with this. It is very easy to use on any device. One issue with former solutions was the quality of voice, mainly when people do not communicate in their native language. BlueJeans has by far the best voice quality of all products we have tested, which helps a lot in making all meetings productive.
  • Easy to set up
  • Easy to use
  • Excellent voice quality
  • Screen sharing is not always obvious how to use
  • Providing remote control could be easier
  • Switching on recording should be possible for admins for all meetings
Well suited for all kind of technical meetings, as well as sales and marketing meetings.

BlueJeans is primarily used by our teams that deal the most with international partners and clients with whom it is difficult finding a steady connection otherwise through Skype or Google Hangouts. It is usually used for long term partners and not one-off calls, given that the interface is not easy to understand by those less familiar with advanced conference calling technology and downloads. This is also because the download process can be time-consuming and cumbersome, and also requires significant internet bandwidth,
  • Connecting across timezones and continents with relative ease
  • Reliable interface with Gmail, our primary mail server
  • Useful call recording feature
  • Invitations always reference video calling, which confuses users as not all calls utilize video
  • Difficulty skipping the download feature for one-time users when we circulate the link to partners
  • Poor connection with some overseas, non-US based locations
  • Difficult to make updates to an existing invite using Google calendars once the invite is made
Well suited for international environments where calls are across time zones and geographies, where internet bandwidth is not of high concern. Useful for large multi-person calls and calls connecting teams in various locations. Useful for remote workers to connect to distant teams visually. Fewer dropped calls or poor connections than Skype.

I use BlueJeans mainly in my teacher training (Yoga).
A part of the training is done online, and I need to have a reliable way to interact with my students, show them what I am doing, share my screens, and I also need to be able to not only "chat" with them, but be able to see them. Sometimes they need to ask questions that require their showing things with their bodies.
  • Stability. The connection was rarely lost.
  • Smooth video and audio. I don't have an amazing connection, but when I used YouTube Live, the lag was awful. Here there was almost no lag.
  • Ease of use. I had people who were quite technologically challenged, and they never had issues.
  • One thing mainly: I cannot split the screen and show what I am doing at the same time as I show what is on my computer (slides or others). This was rather limiting in many ways, and having to go back and forth caused me to lose connections many times during a couple of my sessions, which was aweful.
  • Sharing recordings was not easy at all. The app for some reason said please do not forward the email -so I had to download the files, and re-upload in YouTube.
For training, it kind of depends. If you are not bothered by the lack of a split screen to show the camera and the slideshow or browser tab at the same time, then I think it is an incredible tool for teaching online.

The ease of use and how quickly I could get on a call were remarkable.

It is being used to allow video conferencing with people in different countries. The previous solution we were using was unreliable and haphazard. BlueJeans has made the regular conference call a much smoother process. We can share onscreen content and the application is supported on many platforms. We have had at least 12 people on a call without any problem.
  • It is very easy to use via the app
  • It allows easy screen sharing
  • It is intuitive, even for people who are not that tech savvy.
  • The connection can occasionally be faulty if too many people use video conferencing and their internet connection is a bit slow.
It is excellent for holding meetings where body language is important to read. The app is supported on laptops, mobiles etc., so people can call in from anywhere. People who use it for the first time comment to me on how easy it is to use. It professionalises meetings.

BlueJeans is used across our entire organization. We have many faculty members that use it for bringing guest lecturers into class and we have many administrators using it to hold meetings with employees across the globe. We are a global institution and have campuses across the world and it becomes very important for us to have this type of solution to have the most effective and reliable meetings.
  • The calendar integration with Gmail is key for anyone that uses G Suite. It has helped adoption at a much higher rate.
  • The ease of the mobile platform is also something very important for us.
  • The ability to use the app or the web interface is also something many of our users have commented on.
  • The implementation process was a bit difficult at first, especially with our SSO. Make sure it works with yours completely.
  • We often have multiple people "create an account," but it is a free one through BlueJeans and not our account, then the accounts need to be merged.
BlueJeans is very good for hosting meetings with a group of people, but when it comes to using it in a classroom, it becomes a bit more difficult. We would need to add an additional piece to make it work for having a classroom style setup. This makes it less appropriate for a traditional higher education standpoint.

We have been using Bluejeans over than 3 years, we selected this solution especially for the capability to interconnect with other devices from different vendors by H.323 connection. We use the option for room systems and it works very well. We also think BlueJeans is a good option for businesses that don't have a hard infrastructure for meetings because you only need a web camera and a simple microphone to achieve excellent call quality. We deploy this solution for the entire company and we are very satisfied with it. we have 5 accounts and the IT department manages these accounts and create the meetings when the users need it. This solution has many features like screen sharing, recording meetings and join PSTN audio. In general, it is a good choice for a web conference solution.
  • BlueJeans has excellent quality audio, when you join PSTN + VoIP the quality still excellent.
  • BlueJeans has a good advantage by allowing an Interconnection with multiple vendors by H.323
  • The Service is always up in the more than 3 years we have been using the solution.
  • I think the app has stopped being so intuitive over the years
  • The quality of the video is good but sometimes it takes a few minutes to adjust the quality
  • I think it would be a great idea if BlueJeans develops its own hardware, camera, microphones, etc.
A good scenario is when you don't have a video conference infrastructure in all your offices and you need to join them together. In this case, BlueJeans can join them with good quality. A less appropriate scenario is when you have all your infrastructure based on only one vendor. I think in this scenario BlueJeans is not a good solution.

We use it as part of our normal day-to-day of interviewing candidates for executive level roles.
  • Ease of use for whoever you are VC'ing with - no need to install an application, runs directly within their browser.
  • Excellent video and voice quality.
  • Additionally provides a conference call number which can be used separately from VC.
  • Default to guests NOT needing to download app in preferences.
  • Simplify (read: shorten) meeting access codes.
  • Allow generation of random meeting IDs.
Well suited to fulfill needs for a simple, easy to use VC tool.

BlueJeans is used across our institution to communicate with clients and vendors. One of the main uses of BlueJeans is to record our Board of Directors meetings as well as training sessions we give to our employees. Some training sessions with vendors are also recorded at times.
  • The ease of use and user friendliness.
  • The ability to record all sessions.
  • The ability to use BlueJeans from anywhere and any device.
  • When using BlueJeans, sometimes it is hard to allow the other party to take over control of your workstation.
  • Screen resolutions.
BlueJeans is well suited for any type of meeting where users are using different equipment. It is also very useful when setting ad-hoc meetings starting immediately.

We are using BlueJeans across the globe currently. Everyone uses it and it works seamlessly with our video conference units. Users are also able to connect with their mobile devices, laptops and desk phones which makes meeting setups easy and swift.
  • BlueJeans is very good quality
  • Great at screen sharing
  • Easy to use
  • Not as many admin features as competitors like Cisco, so less supporting tools
  • Overall admin portal could have more features

BlueJeans is used mainly for one to one or one to many calls. It is been used by who ever wants to use it. BlueJeans is mostly used by Human Resource for conducting interviews, by financial analyst team, for conducting quarterly meetings with portfolio companies, board meetings etc. It solves major problems of interviews as the candidate can join over any device.
  • Very good for HR interviews with candidates.
  • Meeting with recording options, very important for board meetings as it is mandatory to record.
  • Audio dial in India

It was being used by various teams in our information technology department. Some of us were using this application because we had a certain amount of people on the team who could not use other applications once we were all remote from the office. We were using the BlueJeans application to host our remote conference calls for teams not only locally in the city but across several states so that we could communicate about projects we were working on.
  • The links to connect to a video conference call with were easy to use
  • For the most part, people that were using a desktop or their cell phone could log into a call with minimal instruction
  • I do not believe out of the two years that we have been using BlueJeans that we have ever had a dropped conference call
  • Sometimes the lighting quality was off but I do also believe that that was due to our desktop camera at the time
  • Depending on the microphone app that you use, there might be some bad feedback during the conference call
  • The integration between a BlueJeans conference call and your car can sometimes be an issue. The mute function did not always work as designed
I believe that BlueJeans is best suited for corporate accounts where are you can see in impact across an entire department versus someone who is just using it personally. It was a bit expensive per my opinion.

BlueJeans is being used across our entire organization. It allows our employees to collaborate without being physically present. We use it primarily for meetings, but also have used it's large presentation-type broadcasts. It is an essential tool for our company because we have several offices across the world. We also have several home-based employees, which makes BlueJeans very useful.
  • The software and web platforms are very stable. There is no head-scratching and troubleshooting involved when trying to join a meeting.
  • It is very quick and responsive. There is no lag time in joining a meeting.
  • The sound and video quality is superb.
  • The command center software could be more streamlined as the UI is a bit busy.
It is a very good piece of software for both internal and external use. When I was interviewing to join my current company, some of my interviews were remote. We use BlueJeans for all conference calls and virtual meetings. We use BlueJeans for telephone only conference calls, sharing documents and computer screens and video calls. My entire organization uses BlueJeans and we invite other colleagues from outside the organization to participate in meetings.
  • The platform is very easy to share with first time users. I've never had a participant who has difficulty joining a call.
  • The quality of the calls and video is very high and reliable.
  • The interface is also very easy for screen sharing and switching between presenters, again, it's both easy to use and easy to understand for first time users.
  • The scheduling function/invitations could be improved slightly. I sometimes have trouble with duplicate invitations.
BlueJeans works well for all of my conference calling. I like it best for use when joining by computer. Joining by phone can be slightly annoying with the very lengthy dial-in access code.
