Relatively inexpensive service for a decent current awareness service. They have added little in sales functionality in the past year as they focused on building a marketing version of the product. Except for the addition of broader European coverage last spring (thin Equifax records), the database was static over the past year.

We are able to use InsideView to clean up our Salesforce CRM with bad data from other vendors i.e. emails, addresses, titles, etc. InsideView is our greatest source of prospecting.

If it was up to me, and me alone, I would select InsideView 100% of the time. Unfortunately it isn't my decision, so my company moved to Data.com. My guess is that it was a financial decision, made by folks that don't use the products. I know that at the end-user level, my team preferred InsideView over Data.com, which is clunky and cumbersome.

Although InsideView is a useful tool, we do not get enough use of of it from the remainder of our staff. Concurrent users tend to be a big pricey. Until we directly correlate a sale to the use of InsideView, I highly doubt a renewal will be likely. If however, price comes down or the platform is improved, we may remain users.

It really depends what you are looking for. It is a great product, and if you tried it out for a year and it is what you are looking for, it is worth renewing.

Like stated in this review, this is a tool that our sales and lead generation teams use daily to help us scope and target the people and companies we are looking to reach out to. This tool have been very useful. The integration with Salesforce is key for us. Inside View has been a lot more reliable than other tools we have used in the past. We would use this tool across our entire organization if the EMEA data was as good as North American data, but it is not. So we will continue to use it for NA activities but nothing more until it improves the information available for other regions.
