Newbies need to try ActiveCampaign as their first email list builder. Veteran communicators should switch to them too!
Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign
I'm currently a solo entrepreneur. ActiveCampaign is the primary mode of communication I use with my customers. It allows me to send email blasts, set up autoresponders, and easily segment my list of customers so I can deliver the highest value to the most people. It's an easy-to-use platform that really works effectively.
- Customer service - the one-on-one personal coaching calls were critical to my early success when I was learning to use it.
- Ease of use - the system is really simple to use and facilitates easy communication with my customers.
- Time saver - Being able to easily access prior email campaigns for future communications really helps save time.
- I wish that the "text to join" function was available at a lower price point.
- Some people might think it would be good to have an ability to create landing pages within ActiveCampaign, but I personally already use my website for this.
- When trying to resend a message to people who didn't open it, it would be nice to be able to amend the message, not just the subject line.
- High rate of conversion from casual readers to subscribers.
- Easy to segment people so they only get the emails that are relevant to them.
- Easy to unsubscribe or delete "dead" emails.
I tried ConvertKit once. It was good, but not nearly as many features as ActiveCampaign. Also, ActiveCampaign was being used by my web development team already, so it made sense to work in the same system they were already familiar with. I have been very happy with them, though!
