Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

We use ADP across the whole organization with time and attendance. We also use it within our department to process payroll and hold employee records. We have several locations so it allows us to collect accurate time records using our own computers, as well as from some employees using the mobile app.
  • Accurate time keeping and collection.
  • Accurate payroll processing.
  • Easily hire, keep employee records, and simplify the termination process.
  • All the frequent updates do cause trouble. When I feel like I'm finally getting a process down, the location or description is changed.
  • ADP Workforce provides a good stable payroll processing product that we can depend on. They compare in price to other vendors. They are always willing to negotiate on the price too.
Our HR team has saved time, but I'm not sure how much. - When I started in my position 20+ years ago we went from paper to electronic capture of time punches on computer. Once it was automated, payroll calculation was no longer a 2-day process. We collect punches, verify our payroll using preview reports and submit payroll all in one day now. Sometimes by mid-afternoon even. Very easy!
I have gone from using PC Payroll to HRB and Payroll to finally Workforce Now. All the processes were basically the same. I used the web-based training when we upgraded and then I trained any new staff as needed.
As our company has grown ADP's products have grown with us. We have transitioned from paper to employees going online to change personal information and supervisors submitting pay increases. We did the same going from paper time cards with manually entering hours to using Time and Attendance with employees clocking in using their computers.
  • Currently we do not integrate our vendors with ADP.
I have not used anything but ADP.
ADP Workforce Now's collection and payroll processing are always accurate and always easy to do.

Using ADP Workforce Now

3 - We have 3 employees that maintain validation tables and any workflow/product changes that we currently use in ADP WorkforceNow. We have basic computer skills and a basic knowledge of how ADP WorkforceNow can be used. If we have any difficulty making changes or getting the results we need from the products we can always rely on the experts in ADP Support.

  • Implementing performance reviews using ADP instead of our in house electronic review.
  • Benefit enrollments instead of having to use the enrollment product of our vendors.
ADP WorkforceNow has always provided accurate payrolls and tax filings. The ADP products are easy to use and give us a good value for the cost of the services.

I think it was our prior experience with the Product.
Every couple years we do our due diligence and check out 2 - 3 different payroll vendors. Their products are always similar in use and cost. We just feel for practitioners and employees alike changing to a different payroll vendor wasn't worth the time and trouble switching and training employees on how to use a new product.

ADP Workforce Now Implementation

Offer a sand box option to make sure codes and descriptions are set up and past history is converted correctly before the final product is put into production.
Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled - I learned that how I understood data would be recorded in the new software was not always accurate. I wish that there had been a way to see the results before we excepted the final implementation. That way we could have made changes before implementing the final product.

ADP Workforce Now Support

Sometimes if my contact doesn't have an answer for me they have to escalate it to a product or tech expert. This seems to slow the process down especially if it isn't urgent for processing our payroll.

No - I have always been able to get good support from ADP Support so I have never need to look for an other option to get support.
Yes - I have used the product suggestion area to report any issue I have had with the software. Sometimes it is "fixed" but most times I never see any change or receive feedback about my suggestions.
We have had a few times when we couldn't get a problem corrected on our end in order to submit our payroll file. Our support contact was able to fix the problem on the back end and get the file submitted for us. ADP support staff always goes up and beyond helping get your payroll file processed, employees paid correctly and on time.
