Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

We use ADP Workforce Now across the entire company for Payroll, Time and Attendance, HR, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Performance, and Analytics. It is a great tool to have our HR Professionals, Managers, and Teammates use to keep track of all aspects of the Payroll and HR arena. It allows for even flow of a teammates "Life Cycle" with the company, from Hire, Retention, to Termination.
  • The payroll process
  • HR information storage/database
  • No true "Training" or Train the Trainer programs for large companies
  • Complex tasks to perform simple functions like creating benefits plans and imported enrollments
  • We are always looking to use more programs/tasks in ADP but usually find that it costs extra.
  • Just recently added an API for recruiting
  • Tried to integrate 401k but it didn't work - 401k system issue.
Integration was not difficult for the API. I don't think we should be charged to post our own jobs on our own website though.
I think they are about the same, although UltiPro is more user-friendly. We stayed with ADP Workforce Now because of the discounts. I do feel that if we continue to add products to the ADP platform (and ADP continues to add costs to each product/access), the cost will equalize and that will not be a major factor.
ADP Workforce Now is well suited for the following scenarios:
1. A small company with a dedicated practitioner (only one) who is in control of all access and data entry.
2. A medium company with two or three dedicated practitioners who work closely together and have specific tasks they work on in the system.
3. A large company that has several practitioners but one dedicated administrator who gives access.

Not well suited for the following scenarios:
1. A company that is growing and does not have a dedicated practitioner or administrator
2. A company that does not want to combine different aspects of the programs used and wants to have multiple systems to do different tasks.
