Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

Workforce Now is used across the whole organization. We currently have 10 branches in 3 states.
  • Tracking employee time
  • Calculating payroll
  • Managing a growing workforce
  • Customer service response time could be improved
  • There are a few features in the timesheets such as paid breaks that could be more functional
  • At initial setup, all salaried employees were set up on Time & Attendance and I'm not really sure why. I wonder if we are spending money on these employees where we don't need to. So a suggestion would be that an account rep review the setup with a client at least annually to make sure they are utilizing the product in the most useful and cost effective manner
  • Up to this point, it has allowed HR/Payroll to be a department of one
Overall, ADP Workforce Now has been a very good product for us, allowing a one person department to manage 100 + employees. With that, there isn't enough time to utilize more of the products such as performance management, etc. Set-up, implementation and employee training take time and the resources aren't available. Things that could be improved are the customer service in a timely manner and a review of our needs from an account representative.

The turnaround time is typically not very good. On many occasions, my problem was not resolved to my satisfaction. Many times, the person taking the phone call cannot resolve the problem due to inexperience and I need to ask for someone with more knowledge. More times than not, I cannot understand the customer service rep due to an accent.
ADP has been an absolute time saver for our company as we are continually growing and adding more employees. It is a little misleading and confusing how there are different "modules" and to get certain features you need to add another module which adds to the overall cost. I understand the concept of making it more ala carte, however it is confusing in the beginning. We have had some customer service issues and feel like this could be improved. Overall, it is a good product and is serving our needs. It is relatively easy for the employees and allows them access to their information easily.
