Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

Our organization uses RE NXT to manage constituent profiles. RE NXT allows us to easily access donor information and prepare strategic outreach for groups of donors and individuals. I use RE NXT on a daily basis to manage personalized communications with donors.
  • Clean, easy to use interface.
  • Allows user to customize how information is displayed.
  • Easily track and manage actions.
  • I would love to see better search options--i.e., the ability to search constituents by address or email.
  • I would like to be able to better segment groups of constituents--i.e., all donors within a 10 mi. the radius of XYZ address.
  • Easy to use.
  • Easily add attachments to actions.
  • Easily close out and edit actions.
  • Moving from RE Classic to RE NXT was a huge time saver for frontline fundraisers and support staff.
As a stewardship professional, I can easily determine any donors to a specific fund or appeal and sort by giving levels. This allows me to prepare reports that are customized for specific constituencies. Additionally, we often prepare legacy reports for donors who have been giving for many years. I can pull the donor's specific contributions and provide a report to the donor about the areas of the hospital supported with their funding.
  • Online Training
I honestly can't remember the training, but the platform is so user-friendly, one does not need much training to maneuver and navigate effectively within NXT. I am not super tech-savvy, and I have never had any issues finding information or producing reports in NXT.

Would you buy Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT again?

Yes

Blackbaud RE NXT is great for development teams who are working on managing large portfolios of donors. It's super easy to use and does not take much training for new users. It is also really useful for fundraising support teams like Donor Relations professionals and others. It is less suited for communications professionals interested in tracking donor engagement (i.e., open rates, etc.)
