Overall Satisfaction with Broadvoice

We use Broadvoice at our office to facilitate Auto Attendant, Calling Groups and shared Voice Mailboxes. The online portal is helpful for monitoring call logs and voicemails, especially for those employees who rely on shared resources for their role. The portal is easy to use, and when settings need to be updated for holidays or changes in staff roles, we are able to do so with no problem at all. The b-hive app has been a great asset as well as this allows users to make or answer calls from their cell phone, the same as if they were using their desk phone. One of my favorite features is how easy it is to change any of the greetings for voicemails or the auto attendant. The text-to-speech and other recording options make it so pleasant to create or update a greeting, and keeping the files in the sound manager section allows for great flexibility as needed.
  • The b-hive app on the cell phone works just like a desk phone, but can be used anywhere! We can even call extension to extension in the app!
  • The text-to-speech option allows me to pre-type up my greeting just the way I want it, and then have it transformed into an MP3 file to use as part of the auto attendant or a voicemail greeting - a nice variety of voice options as well!
  • It is so easy to add someone to a calling group or shared voice mailbox. When employee roles change or someone is helping cover during a co-worker's vacation, this makes it so easy to manage!
  • The customer support group at Broadvoice is very helpful!
  • Sometimes, the call quality is crackly. It has improved recently.
  • It is easy to use a button on our desk phones to retrieve messages from a primary voice mailbox. However, it would be helpful to have programming codes available to use on other phone buttons (or speed dials) to retrieve shared voice mailboxes.
  • The text-to-speech function doesn't accommodate longer greetings, so for those I have to use an alternative source. It would be great to have increased capacity for that function.

We are very happy with our Broadvoice phone system, primarily because of how easy it is to manage and customize. It has features that are very helpful and flexible so we can adjust according to our needs.
