Overall Satisfaction with Canva

Canva has been a really intuitive graphic design software our employees have been able to pick up with extreme ease. Our ad specialists and web developers are able to easily create images without having to use expensive photo editing software, as well as not having to have previous experience with complicated image editing software.
  • Easily create graphics for website banners and images
  • Create professional-looking social media images from our phones
  • Quickly create engaging banner ads
  • Canva is great to create aesthetically pleasing documents, but it can be pretty clunky
  • The ability to easily remove image backgrounds would be a great tool to have so we don't have to upload are images to other free background removing tools.
  • Being able to edit on mobile devices is a huge plus
  • Quickly being able to search for icons, shapes, images, and lines within the editor make creating images really easy
  • We haven't had to outsource graphic design work. This saves us hundreds if not, thousands of dollars per month
  • We don't have to hire graphic designers to create simple images which helps us stay lean internally
  • We don't have to pay for expensive photo editing software which saves us hundreds of dollars per month
Adobe PhotoShop is the only one I was able to pick from above. We have one employee that uses this occasionally, but she has since switched to primarily editing things with Canva since our photo editing and creation requirements are pretty minimal. However, the other software we typically use is Gravit.io. It wasn't listed in the above selections. It's an easier-to-use and free-to-use version of photoshop with fewer features that has a premium feature model just like Canva. Although, it doesn't have the library that Canva has and you can't really use it on mobile devices. Which doesn't make it ideal at times.

Would you buy Canva again?

Canva is really suited for applications that are relatively simple, such as adding CTAs to images or providing quick things needed to post on social media. It's typically not ideal for icon or logo creation or anything that has more complicated requirements. Such as angled cutouts to images or unique font styling.
