Overall Satisfaction with Exclaimer

We've implemented Exclaimer for Office 365 to manage our shoreside employees' mail signatures to make them coherent and consistent throughout the business. Using the Exclaimer platform allows the IT manager to centrally manage the templates through the online software as well as use O365 Active Directory to manage the contact details of the employees and what is displayed on the signatures.

Pros

  • Auto-synchronization with O365 Active Directory.
  • Different signature templates for different departments/teams.
  • Very reasonably priced for what you get.

Cons

  • Possibly a mobile app through which to manage Exclaimer
  • Coherent and consistent branding across the organization
  • Improved regulatory info like compliant GDPR info across all signatures
The website is easy to use. Support is extremely helpful in setting up templates. Testing of email signatures before implementation is good.
We use templates for different internal companies but are on the same O365 tenancy. We also use external and internal email templates to reduce the amount of information in signatures, depending on who the email is being delivered to. We sometimes use email banners that are date specific if there is a company event or something local we would like to promote.

Exclaimer is less suited to very small teams with two or three employees that can manage email signatures easily. Exclaimer is very well suited to large teams or organizations with a large number of employees or multiple locations. The IT admin can easily set an employee up with an O365 account and synchronize it with Exclaimer. The employee doesn't have to worry about their signature on their emails--this is automatically applied after it has been sent.
