Overall Satisfaction with GiveSmart

Currently, we use GiveSmart for one fundraising event at ACT of Connecticut. It is a Gala. We use the product for registration and our auction.
  • Customer service is responsive and knowledgeable.
  • Backend of the software is user friendly.
  • I don't love that my donors are notified when I make changes to the backend of the system.
  • The seating management tool did not work for our group as we are a theatre and needed to assign seat numbers vs table numbers (we came up with a work around).
  • It would be nice to be able to transfer all data post event from GiveSmart to our donor management system - Bloomerang (vs. mapping or data entry). This would save time and resources.
  • It's great that we can capture credit cards on file. I think this helps to make sure we can run cards after the event and realize all pledges.
I have used ibidmobile in the past.
Their night of staff is probably stronger (but this year we only had a virtual staff member).
I would like to see that we can put a website in the auction descriptions to drive traffic to the donor's website.
Easy to use.
Rae Jordan was excellent. Night of support was okay. We had a wrong cell phone number which caused a delay in getting in touch.
I like the template offered.
I think GiveSmart has made some nice improvements over the years taking in feedback from clients. I love that you can now schedule emails/text messages. Our customer service rep (Rae Jordan) was fantastic and I felt well supported throughout the process.

I do think for a very small non profit, GiveSmart would be too expensive.
