Overall Satisfaction with GoToMeeting
We use GoToMeeting for online meetings and desktop sharing. The online meeting is used primarily by the managers between the multiple companies to decrease on time wasted driving to long-distance locations. The desktop sharing is used by the desktop support team to help reduce physical visits. This helps keep down on personnel costs.
- Remote desktop support
- Team meetings between multiple locations with low bandwidth
- The occasional buffer issue (possible internet issue)
- The occasional audio clarity issue (possible internet issue)
- Not location specific, so assists with supporting multiple locations - less physical time spent in vehicle traveling.
We used Cisco Webex Meeting with the spark boards and when you could get everything synced, it would work great. GoToMeeting was a lot more user-friendly, way more than Cisco Webex Meeting. Since we already had the built-in desktop share feature, this pushed TeamViewer out the door. Also, we don't have to play the version game like you do with TeamViewer. I'm just not a fan of Skype.
