Overall Satisfaction with Groove

I utilize Groove for all my outreach for my position in sales as a Business Development Rep. Having the ability to integrate with Salesforce, Gmail, and have a dialer that is all synced up is a game-changer. I have not had too many issues with Groove at all. The first few actions in my day are reviewing email and then hopping straight into groove. It is straightforward and easy to use. The product fulfills its job well!

  • Ability to expand the window for emails and LinkedIn messages.
  • Fix the connection issues with the dialer.
  • On the notifications for opened, provide information if they clicked a link.
  • Email, call, and LinkedIn action management.
  • Action Logging.
  • Analytics of response rate, actions performed, open rate, etc.
  • Increased productivity.
  • Efficient and actionable.
  • Increased visibility on email outreach and what works and does not.
There are some things that could make it better. One major aspect that would improve it is having the ability to work ahead and schedule future tasks. Furthermore, fixing the connection issues on the dialer would be much needed. Other than that, there are so many things that just make Groove easy to use. There are some who are completely agnostic to Groove over others. Though I have not used any others, I can never get a reason for why someone might use a different tool. It just works!
In my position and role, I do not automate a whole lot. Though, it would be nice to automate removing leads or contacts if specific parameters are met. Such as if the reply to an email is "not interested". However, I know that some continue to push or use it as a way to understand why. Personally, I will save the pushing for a future date.
I use HubSpot for the marketing aspects. Not so much for the outreach or action items.

I think that Groove works particularly well for a sales-type position where the integrations are needed for other tools. When there is a need to have templated emails for consistent outreach, Groove has an easy way to integrate and deploy this. As far as scenarios where it is less appropriate, it seems to me that there are not too many cases where it would not work. Understandably there are specific laws in states or provinces where recording is not legal, however, sometimes it does not record when it should.
