Overall Satisfaction with Guru

We use Guru to document processes, workflows, release notes, and internal FAQs.
  • Sharability of knowledge/cards.
  • AI summarization.
  • Ease of documenting and verifying cards.
  • Permissions management feels clunky.
  • The embedding of guru cards into other interfaces is overly complex.
  • Card links and shortcuts don't always work.
  • Sharing of cards.
  • Verifying current information.
  • Gets us out of documenting processes in word docs and emails.
  • Positive: Guru has allowed us to retain knowledge of processes and how-tos even after an employee has left the company.
I have not evaluated other products.

Do you think Guru delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Guru's feature set?

Yes

Did Guru live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Guru go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Guru again?

Yes

I enjoy using Guru when I'm creating a process guide that needs to be shared internally. I have found Guru to be inappropriate when documenting processes that are heavily reliant on systems/software, as it can be clunky to document and include screenshots.

Using Guru

It's easy to be confused by the hierarchy of boards, collections, cards, etc. Otherwise the UX is clear and uncluttered.
