Overall Satisfaction

  • I love the customer service. It is available at any time and the people (including my personal adviser and the technical side) are patient and knowledgeable.
  • I find the reporting information to be extremely useful. It allows me to keep track of my new contacts and my competition, as well as other important metrics.
  • The ability to make changes immediately on my website is very important to me. HubSpot's software makes it easy. And in those cases where I get stuck, I know I can always count on support to move me forward.
  • The initial training and webinars are fantastic. Very "news you can use" and applicable to growing my business.
  • Since starting with HubSpot 13 months ago, my website traffic has increased 500%. I think that speaks for itself.
  • The social media monitoring system does not allow us to see new followers.
  • On occasion, images loaded in the social media module do not publish.
  • Sometimes the keyword function drags; at one point, it took more than 24 hours to update a new keyword.
  • As mentioned earlier, my website traffic has increased 500%. I lack conversions, but this is my issue, not HubSpot's. Although it might be nice to have some webinars on the topic; surely I'm not the only one with that issue!
  • The most positive impact (other than the aforementioned increase in traffic) is having the ability to make immediate changes to my website to meet changing conditions.
It works. I have been advised by my business coaches that this program is better suited to mid-sized companies (I am a sole proprietor). But if I had to set up programs for all the functions I can easily and quickly access through HubSpot, it would take much, much longer to accomplish all my tasks. It's better for me to have all these things reside in one spot.
As a life and business coach, I believe the same basic concepts apply to HubSpot: You have to work it. You cannot merely sign up for HubSpot and wait for the results to magically appear. You have to take advantage of the HubSpot Academy webinars and then apply what you learn to your business. HubSpot is for people who are serious about growing their business through inbound marketing, and the company provides the tools and support you need to do that.

Product Usage

1 - All of them. I am a sole proprietor.
1 - HubSpot is so easy to use that anyone can do it. As a one-woman shop, I do everything in my business and using HubSpot does not take a huge amount of technical skill.
  • Website updates
  • Social media publishing and monitoring
  • Dashboard statistics on everything from email opens to website visits to keywords
  • I'm able to use just one program instead of multiple free sites that would eat up a lot of time that I don't have.

Evaluation and Selection

  • None
I took a few webinars and was convinced this was the product for me.
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
  • Vendor Reputation
Taking the webinars that explained what HubSpot does.
I wouldn't. I've learned a lot about other products since signing up with HubSpot and none of them have the same versatility.

Implementation

Take the training and implement it right away. It's important to put learning to immediate use if you want to remember it.
Yes - I started with the website changes, then moved on to social media, blogging (including keywords) and email.
Change management was minimal - I just told myself to do it and I did!
  • Understanding all the functions available. I still don't know all of them.
  • Learning how to go into the HTML to make my own changes. That was fun!
  • Understanding how to get landing pages, documents and CTAs to all align.

Support

Support is available at all hours from people who are familiar with the product. They are friendly and helpful and never rushed. They seem genuinely motivated to help me succeed.
