Overall Satisfaction with Iterable

My company has a dual-sided marketplace, with very different users with different goals and lifecycles. Iterable allows us to use powerful segmentation and event-based triggers to ensure we are sending the right message at the right time to the right user. It also allows us to easily implement a cross-channel strategy across email, SMS, push, and in-app messages all seamlessly within one workflow.

Handlebars logic allows us to serve dynamic content in our messages based on user profile attributes. The segmentation tools also allow us to quickly size audiences and look through event histories of users in our lists. The testing and proofing functionalities also allow us to feel confident in launching our experiments.
Iterable provides multiple ways to gather and store data about our users, whether it's through APIs, webhooks, syncs via other tools, manual uploads, etc. This allows us to have hyper-personalized messages and design our experiments for maximum efficiency. It is easy to look up customers via their email or user ID and get a quick snapshot of what type of user they are via their Iterable profile.
What really impresses me about Iterable is that it has the power of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and the easy-to-use interface of Braze, but what really sets it apart is its customer support. We have a dedicated team that we can access anytime who is there to advise on campaign strategy, product requests, or super in-the-weed technical questions. I've never used an automation tool that also provided weekly touchpoints with account managers and always-on support like Iterable has offered.

Iterable is a powerful and sophisticated marketing automation tool with a lot of opportunities for personalization and segmentation. I recommend it for companies with robust CRM programs and ample support from product, engineering, and data teams. It is less suited for companies who focus on simpler CRM strategies (e.g. newsletters, surveys, etc.) and more for companies whose strategies focus on event-triggered messages, nurture flows, and multi-touch lifecycles.
