If you develop emails or work within a CRM team, Litmus is a must-have product
Overall Satisfaction with Litmus
We primarily use Litmus to see how our email code will render across a multitude of devices. We need to ensure that our content looks great for desktop, mobile, and web email clients. If we run into problems, we have the luxury in Litmus where we can tweak code in their builder to see how our changes affect renderings.
Pros
- Multiple device support
- Builder
- Analytics
Cons
- Would love to easily be able to build the Litmus that I want. Keep tools we need, strip/hide tools we don't.
- We know what our Creative Team delivers to our developers will be what our customers get in their inbox.
- It reduces QA time for visual approvals.
We don't utilize built-in integrations. We do our testing separately and, at times, send proofs out from SFMC to Litmus. This is rare.
We don't use Litmus metrics too much. We rely on other tracking strategies. This is mostly due to costs that take hold at certain send limits.
We don't use this too much, if at all. We mostly just take proof URLs for a specific campaign and share them into our ticket systems for review.
Litmus has much more functionality than options we have reviewed. That being said, Litmus is much more expensive.
