Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp

The companies I’ve used Mailchimp for are primarily b2c and some b2b. Therefore, their objectives are different though each is the same underlying intention. The intention is to inform clients and create awareness of their offerings. For instance, I worked for a cannabis accessories company that wanted to inform its users of new products. So I had to plan accordingly by placing the products in strategic zones to not seem so sales-focused. As a result, I placed information about the product and its uses to highlight its uniqueness in it. This way customers know why purchasing this product is going to be beneficial to their uses. Mailchimp is perfect for this since its creative tools make your information seem appealing. No one has the time to sit a long dull email so Mailchimp template creator allows you to do it effectively.
  • Template creation
  • Organize mailing list
  • Create email campaigns
  • Import mailing list
  • Analytics
  • Email planning
  • Outreach
  • User interface
  • Integrating html
  • Better user retention
  • Higher roi from campaigns
  • Better CTR on website
  • Higher average time user spent
Mailchimp in my opinion is way better at educating its users better than Klavyio. Additionally, Mailchimp has a better user interface and Klavyio makes it trickier than it should be making a campaign. The point is not to confuse users and make it easier to meet deadlines. Therefore, Mailchimp has a better way of setting up campaign creation and testing.
Mailchimp has made it easier to create and experiment with different landing pages and emails. I’ve also used Mailchimp to create new landing pages for products and services and AB testing has been so easy to find results. Lastly, its usability for testing emails is great and allows me to see dynamic elements.
For my current roles, Mailchimp has benefited me by testing different audience groups. This allowed me to create different email content for each one and find different insights based on Mailchimp reporting data. Since I’m currently working in a B2B I’m able to find and remarket different users based on events recorded by Mailchimp.
I’ve been able to convert users from a simple product-based email to signing up new businesses to our platform. Mailchimp has allowed me to learn how to experiment with different email content and placements. Additionally, how to segment audiences based on reporting data like opened or unopened. This allows me to retain users and get the most out of the marketing budget.

Do you think Mailchimp delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Mailchimp's feature set?

Yes

Did Mailchimp live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Mailchimp go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Mailchimp again?

Yes

Outreach marketing is not ideal if you are looking to use Mailchimp in my opinion. Mailchimp is more suited for inbound marketing like newsletters, product releases, or event publications. Therefore, it’s best to have a good mailing list before getting into Mailchimp. Otherwise, don’t expect to reach new customers and create possible lead opportunities.
