Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Marketo Engage

We are currently using Marketo Engage to up our marketing automation game and drive value for our sales team.
  • Marketing automation via Smart lists
  • Segmentation
  • Dynamic content
  • Triggered emails
  • Batch updates
  • Easily delete assets
  • Easy move assets between programs or workspaces
Marketo stands out above and beyond the platforms I've used. I haven't used anything like Oracle or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, however.

Evaluating Adobe Marketo Engage and Competitors

Yes - Act-On was replaced by Marketo Engage. Act-On's reporting and ability to scale and handle our unique requirements did not fit with our organization. We also send multiple emails in multiple languages using the langue project management platform Smartling, which is compatible with Marketo.
The single most important factor in our decision was Marketo's ability to handle our high demand for international marketing.
I don't think we would adjust our evaluation and selection process.

Adobe Marketo Engage Support

Every time that we have had an issue with Marketo Engage, they have been prompt to respond and incredibly helpful in all of our requests, even when the issue was not rooted with their platform.

When integrating our CRM, SugarCRM, we ran into multiple issues. The issues were on Sugar's side, but Marketo was willing to go above in beyond in helping me find a solution and reach a resolution. Their help literally changed how we did the integration and was a huge

Adobe Marketo Engage Reliability

Marketo is always available and ready when needed but we have run into a few instances where servers have gone down for minutes or hours at a time. The resolution is always smooth and seamless.
Marketo Engage performs very well and consistently. It can sometimes run slow with very large Smart Lists or Database pulls, but overall, the performance is well above expectations in most cases.
