Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is being used by a Digital department of our organization. Miro is a great tool that allowed Organizational changes and agility coaches and learning professionals to quickly pivot during covid and transform their courses into collaborative learning experiences. We've been also using Miro at the ideation stage and as a prototyping tool for different types of projects. It's been amazing being able to sketch your ideas, map out course structure, collaborate on a project, and facilitate group sessions all using this simple tool. It's easy to learn and by its nature inspiring. Miro sparks creativity and a collaborative spirit.

I wasn't involved in the implementation. The tool was very easy to use for me many of my colleagues on the digital side of the business. I wish it would have been implemented across the organization. Couldn't make my prototype work in communications with other departments. Had to switch to old-school prototyping with Google Slide share.
It's very easy to integrate with Google Suite tools, Asana, and some video conferencing tools (if remember correctly). Miro does an amazing job of uploading links and pictures from the web. Great for curating content into your project.
As mentioned, it allowed course creators and coaches like me quickly and creatively pivot to facilitating workshops remotely across the organization (from West to East coast). It inspired new solutions.

I think Miro is perfect where a group needs to collaborate on a project: for example, working together on a customer journey map or doing some low fidelity prototyping. Miro has good templates if you're working in an agile environment. It's perfect for brainstorming sessions or facilitating online workshops. Might not be the best choice for high fidelity prototyping or if you need to quickly onboard people who are not familiar with the infinite canvas type of tools.
