Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it when collaborating within teams and across departments. For us, it's especially useful when brainstorming and discussing various ideas. It's also used as a collaboration tool in many of our internal training. Overall, it helps us to share our ideas simultaneously without interrupting someone. The notes with ideas can be structured on the board, and the result is more comprehensible than writing the ideas in a simple document.
  • The size of the board is not limited and it's easy to zoom in and out.
  • A large amount of visual customization. The resulting board can be used for different purposes, from Kanban to User story mapping.
  • The user interface is quite intuitive.
  • Quite often, the app is very slow to load.
  • When a large number of people are adding to the board, it can be confusing to watch in real-time. Not sure if there is an option to limit the number of changes that are being rendered in real-time.
  • When switching between projects, it takes too long to load, and the app is unresponsive.
  • Made discussions more productive
  • Somewhat reduced our time spent in meetings
  • Made gathering feedback easier
I don't know the reason behind this, but I feel like loading times are unbearably long. It's not a question of my internet connection. Regardless of location, it takes ages before you can switch between projects, and the app is unresponsive in the meantime. If you can significantly improve the loading times, it would definitely make the experience more enjoyable.
I'm not sure I can rate this question. I haven't used the integration feature myself. But I know others who used it, and they said it was pretty easy to set up generating some general statistics for comments in predefined categories and such.
It can be a real challenge to collaborate effectively from remote locations. Personally, the best improvement was the decrease in our meeting times. It can also be easier to share your comment or opinion on a Miro board rather than discuss it one at a time during a call. I feel like when using the board, you get far more comments and ideas out there.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I feel like it's best to use it for brainstorming and commenting on specific topics. We also successfully used it for gathering feedback on potentially contentious issues. In my experience, Miro serves the best purpose when there is a need for multiple succinct commentaries on specific topics. If the comments are extensive, it's no longer very readable and it might be better to move the comments to a separate document.
