Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I utilize Miro to coordinate business-as-usual tasks, engage in team discussions, ideate, and for project planning and ongoing management. The diversity of functions is useful across multiple uses - post-its, comments, kanbans, tables, and picture insertions. It can be used for casual engagement like team building activities or formal project management activities, as well as interconnecting with other applications used in the business like Jira or Confluence.
  • Diversity of use cases.
  • Functional tools for project management, like due dates, tagged comments, or alerts.
  • User-friendly display.
  • Ease of use/tooltips for more technologically challenged users.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Improved team alignment on projects.
  • Improved engagement during digital workplace scenarios.
Not involved in integration.
Miro has enabled improved collaboration during remote working for both siloed and cross-functional teams. Dedicated setup ahead of time is highly recommended by the meeting coordinator/leader to maximize productivity during digital meetings.

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro integrates with other systems our business utilizes, whereas Trello doesn't. Miro also has much higher functionality and diverse toolsets, as opposed to Trello's quite specific kanban/task list functionality.
Great to use for brainstorming and ideation with input from multiple users and well suited to kanban functionality. Less well suited for specific project management steps & updates or for calendar tracking. Not as likely to recommend this to users who aren't tech-savvy, as it takes some intuition to use the tools and can be easy to get wrong. Also not practical if different users require different access levels, e.g., editing vs. non-editing functions, as any user can technically unlock parts of the board and edit/remove where the main user may not want this. Recovery of lost information is also limited, so highly sensitive information is not practical.
