Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • More effective tracking of client deliverables ensures that no benefits are forgotten or overlooked.
  • Notifications and automation has saved time when communicating, particularly while staff are all working remotely.
  • Effective prospecting tools have helped us to retain almost 90% of event sponsors year-over-year, despite being in a pandemic environment that only allows for virtual events.
We use monday.com for project management and integration, both within our department and between departments across the organization. We utilize boards for sales prospecting, tracking client status and deliverables, communicating deliverables to other internal departments, and more.

Pros

  • Boards are simple to build with the supplied templates, so we don't need to waste time on a complicated process.
  • Board automations are simple to set up and ensure consistent results without the need for manual processes.
  • Setting up notifications allows us to communicate clearly between departments while cutting down on email clutter.

Cons

  • I would like to see more robust options when it comes to the board templates.
  • The integration between separate workspaces within the organization could be smoother.
  • Make it easy to set up automated deadline reminders for specific tasks.
The platform is very intuitive and it was easy to get buy-in from the entire staff. Within a matter of roughly 2 weeks, we had everyone using the platform on a daily basis. There has been some hesitation from our less tech-savvy senior staff who are overwhelmed by the new environment but they have slowly adapted.
We have not needed to rely on tech support, but support staff were extremely helpful in providing a demo and getting us up and running when we were initially evaluating project management solutions.
This has been a definite time-saver and since we started using the platform nearly 2 years ago, I cannot recall a single outage or technical issue. Very impressive reliability overall.
