Overall Satisfaction with NinjaOne
We use NinjaOne to manage out computers, provide support, remote access for IT support, OS and third party patching, scripts. The product helps us roll multiple solutions into one so it significantly simplifies our IT management. NinjaOne also can be used for remote work if necessary. The remote access screen sharing solutions they have are all very stable.
- Granular interface that gives significant details about your devices.
- Remote Access and management.
- Simplifying OS and third party patching.
- Their third party patch management is limited
- Does not have a function to remote deploy, requires you to use another software or run their exe/msi package.
- Patching sometimes fails to reboot
- Includes teamviewer as a remote access tool so you dont need to pay for teamviewer on the side
- Support is excellent and responsive and is located in north America
- Saves significant time for admins
NinjaOne has all our PCs sitting on one dashboard. We can easily connect and see any information about the PC, even down to the hardware information. From there we can access the command prompt and powershell screens on each computer and run commands. We can set up patch management schedules. We can remote access to see screens with a few clicks.
The OS patching and the third part patching keep our devices secure by keeping them all up to date. That is probably the most important part of our IT security. This removes any human error with missed patch schedules. When everything remains up to date, our security posture is much better.
We have been able to automate our setups, app installs, scripts, mass app updates, patching, and significantly simplified our remote management. Our reboot schedules have also been automated. The tool allows granular access when it comes to setting up different schedules for setting to automate all these tasks. Its really up to the admin how far they want to take automation.
The systems screen on NinjaOne is simpler and has more information. You can customize details/columns per technician. CMD, PowerShell, registry emulate the windows look and feel. Pulseway just gives you a big white page to type commands and it doesn’t respond as seamlessly. NinjaOne allows granular configuration of rolls for technicians. NinjaOne has multiple remote access options like TeamViewer, Splashtop and others. Pulseway only has their own remote access solution built in but its laggy and unstable.
NinjaOne does not have a remote deploy option included. Pulseway has this.
Pulseway’s MFA is more convenient. Pulseways mobile app edges out NinjaOne’s for the win. NinjaOne’s app has a dated look. Pulseway goes directly to all systems and immediately shows OS, status, uptime, and it gives you issues under the notification tab. One big drawback of the Pulseway app is notifications don’t automatically go away if the issue is solved. Pulseway’s third party patch management is much better. More software options, less confusing. Out of the box it works better.
For OS patch management, NinjaOne is a bit more granular, but Pulseway’s is just as good.
