Overall Satisfaction with Outreach
I'm not 100% sure if it's used by other departments, but I'm pretty sure Outreach is only used by our sales team. It allows us to keep track of our leads and prospects by creating tasks to follow up, sequence templates to assign, and overall reports/stats on our messages. On a high level, it saves us a lot of time in regards to organizing and keeping accountable with our prospects - instead of manually doing everything, Outreach helps us to track and follow up. We also use Outreach via mobile to call others, so instead of having a separate phone, we can use ours with a different number.
- Following up tasks - instead of manually tracking everything, we can create follow up sequences and make sure we're consistently checking in our leads.
- Sequence templates - useful to create more personalized sequence messages that can be used for multiple prospects directly.
- Syncing with Salesforce - automatically updating lead statuses & info so we don't have to do them manually & separately each time.
- So slow - Outreach (especially as of late) has been extremely slow and laggy. Takes forever to put leads into sequences or update.
- Calling - been multiple glitches when I try to call someone, and OR hangs up the phone by itself.
- Salesforce sync - glad it does that, but there's a lot of times when I still have to manually input things, even after change it on Outreach.
- Saves a lot of time - again, less manual work so more freedom to focus on other tasks.
- I can't say too much in regards to ROI (we've had OR since I've come here, so nothing I can compare it too) -- but I'm sure it's helped to increase my meetings/pipeline since I'm able to keep a more organized track and follow up with leads.
- Drift
Bit different, but Drift is also for customer support/sales and they're currently trying to create sequences for their platform as well. Both are pretty glitchy, but I would say Outreach is a little more functional than Drift; laggy, but I've never really had mistakes happen (unlike Drift, where they're still trying to work out a lot of kinks in their platform). However, Drift does have beautiful UI and they're innovating fast on their platform - they also have great integrations. If they're able to lessen the glitches and start making sequences a big part of their platform, I might try to experiment that over Outreach to compare.
