Overall Satisfaction with PandaDoc

We use PandaDoc for all large proposal submissions. It allows us to easily put together our portfolio and general company information. We have multiple templates for different sized projects with a lot of different portfolio page options to customize per job. It also allows for us to monitor if a document has been viewed. It allows customers who do not know how to electronically sign documents do so easily.
  • Customizing.
  • Set templates.
  • Variables.
  • Integration into other programs such as Agile.
  • Photo shape cropping.
  • Saving custom themes, they don't seem to carry over when you start a new content page.
  • There was a greater time up front assembling all our pages but now it saves hours assembling RFP's.
  • We increased our closing rate by 27%.
  • Our professional estimate appearance on a general basis is at least 50% improved.
Full RFP and large proposals are considerably faster, not to mention it enables a lot more people in the company to be able to do it rather than just those who are able to use Adobe Creative Suite. But simple estimates are still faster in FreshBooks. Reusable templates and content pages are very quick to use and have sped up processes immensely.
We haven't used those functions internally. Mobile-friendly eSignatures may have been used but we haven't asked the customer.
I wouldn't give PandaDoc credit for this. Although they have features that are easy to use we have a full in house design team that has spend hours making sure our documents are presentable up to our expectations of our InDesign documents when we made the switch.
  • General information documents.
We tried 3 different ones before proceeding with PandaDoc but that was awhile ago now and I have forgotten which they were. I do know that PandaDoc was the clear winner as I was the one to do the comparison and set up a mock template on the trail version of all 3 before proceeding.
It's suitable for all projects for us that are over a certain dollar amount. PandaDoc presents quotes well and is much easier to assemble than InDesign with a lot less of a likeliness of accidentally moving something on a page. It is still easier for us to use FreshBooks for smaller estimate amounts as it's still a bit quicker to add line items and FreshBooks estimates automatically generate into Agile which is our order tracking system.
