Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
I use Paylocity strictly for onboarding employees and processing payroll.
- Payroll processing
- Onboarding
- Adding states as employees move
- Payroll tax returns - state and federal
- The order of onboarding seems off - you have to verify employee documents steps before where the documents are attached by the employee
- The Docusign element of E-Verify doesn't keep up to where you are and makes you go through steps you don't need to
- Paylocity saves me hours in time so I can focus on other tasks and is cheaper than the last payroll provider we used.
- The last two times I've had to add a state due to a new hire or an employee move, I've let Paylocity register with the states. Since each state has their own rules it's some much easier to let an expert, like Paylocity, handle that for me.
- Paylocity fixes my many messes quickly and easily.
We use an industry specific software to track time and do not use Paylocity's tine tracking features. We also use a local recruiter and do not use those features on the Paylocity platform.
We don't use those features.
- ADP Resource (Discontinued)
ADP was horrible. We did not have a dedicated group to help out and were always transferred around when we called with issues. The final straw with ADP came when they forced us onto a new platform and in the process messed up that year's W2's. It took months to correct.
