Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We use Procore to manage our jobs. We currently have about 8 project managers who use the program to send and receive RFIs, change orders, etc. It is also used by some foremen to communicate with the project managers and collaborate as a team to ensure the job is running smooth. We do not use it in our financial department yet, or to track field hours, but hoping to expand.
- I like that they track who has viewed, entered etc., on specific items.
- The program allows for smooth communication between the project team and [pfovides] transparency.
- Nothing really that I have run into, maybe a little confusing to have Change Orders and Change Events
- Saved time and effort by not having multiple people working on the same items
- Increased communication between field staff and project managers/office staff
- A standardized program that can be used by all employees on all projects for uniformity
- Gain visibility into projects
- Ensure information is accessible and up to date
- Document job site conditions
- Report on incidents and inspections
- Identify job site risks
- Track cost impacts from the field
- Streamline financial reporting
- Improve forecast accuracy
- Simplify employee time tracking
RFIs, submittals, change orders, and observations are all very useful in achieving our goals. We are hoping to expand our use with Procore to include more financials and labor tracking as well.
Yes, this is one of the best features of this product. It is great to be in real time miles apart and able to collaborate on items. We have 2 separate offices and frequently used the change order module to stay up to date on how many we have out there, even when multiple people were entering them, so as not to miss items.
