Overall Satisfaction with Procore

We utilize Procore to manage multifamily and commercial construction projects. It helps us manage our contract documents, financials/job cost, scheduling, daily reporting, and procurement. It helps us provide a single source of truth to our field and partners while enabling faster and more accurate cost reporting.
  • Document control - easy to ensure most up-to-date is distributed while allowing version control and lookback.
  • Change management - Quick and accurate process to enact and manage change events with owners and trades.
  • Daily Reports - Easy to navigate and provide tons of useful information.
  • Reporting - Some simple metrics are unavailable in the correct locations for reporting.
  • Internal Document control - Storage and management can be a little clunky.
  • RFI - RFI workflow could be improved.
  • Customizations - Some seemingly simple customizations or improvements are largely unavailable or ignored (like default font size!)
  • Emails - Emails sent from system become white noise.
  • Meeting Minutes - Very rigid and produces notes that are WAY too lengthy due to repetitive info and whitespace.
  • Mobile App - Lack of Gannt chart access inexcusable. Organization of app confusing.
  • Increased time
  • Increased efficiency
  • Reduced data entry errors
Our accounting software is integrated and has some shortcomings due to the accounting software side. We also use the DocuSign integration which can be a bit clunky and inefficient but still results in [a] faster turnaround of documents.
Procore is a big advantage versus old systems, and top talent expects to have access to good technology.
Red Team is another CM product. Many of the features are similar to Procore but generally more limited in scope and features.

Do you think Procore delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Procore's feature set?

Did Procore live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Procore go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Procore again?

The ability to copy entries from [the] previous day is a big timesaver. [The] use of dropdown entries is helpful.
Procore is great for project management of medium to large-size construction projects. It is very useful for general and trade contractors alike. It would be hard to recommend for small contractors and small projects due to the complexity and cost of the software. Due to limitations on access, I would not recommend it for owners unless they are controlling the construction program in-house.

  • Project Management
  • Record Keeping
  • Job Costing
We are too invested in the system to seriously consider any platform changes currently.

Evaluating Procore and Competitors

Yes - Submittal Exchange. SE was not full scope enough for our needs
  • Cloud Solutions
  • Scalability
  • Ease of Use
Procore is the industry standard.

Procore Support

Some issues are resolved quickly, others never get resolved. Procore often prioritizes system refreshes oveer real system flaws.
Quick Resolution
Knowledgeable team
No escalation required
Immediate help available
Quick Initial Response
Poor followup
No, Procore does not provide different support levels.
Yes - No, some issues are still ongoing months later.

Using Procore

In some areas Procore is too detailed, others not enough. Different programming teams has resulted in different interface components depending on the tool which can be frustrating. Continued update to a new interface is headed in the wrong direction in my opinion, form over substance.

Yes - Mobile works fine. Frustration in several areas where Mobile provides a different level of data availability than web.
