Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct is only used by our Finance Team today. The platform gives me advanced and custom reporting at my fingertips which I lean on almost daily to make decisions and better lead our organization. We have real-time visibility into our AR agings and cash flow forecasts. We also love the approver workflows which we didn't have in QBO, which allow us to employe controls inside the system and remove manual paper workflows and reconciliations.

Pros

  • Bank reconciliations are wonderfully automated! We love that we can also complete throughout the month to make month-end a breeze.
  • Custom board reporting is done with the push of a button-- it is actually easier than that since they arrive in my inbox for review on scheduled cycles.

Cons

  • Certain modules need user interface upgrades. These would include the prepaids and FA modules.
  • Minor issues with adjusting the date on reports particularly in the dashboards to avoid duplicating the same report with a different date.
  • We were able to postpone additional Finance Team staff with the additional productivity gains from moving to Intacct.
Yes, we have greatly benefited from the automation across the GL, AP and AR modules. We are now preparing to set up the automatic collections notices to assist in cash flow improvement. We are 30% more productive as a team compared to when we were using Quickbooks.

We have easily integrated platforms like ADP, but had a slightly harder time with smaller partners or custom integrations.
Easier to use for inexperienced staff with all of the functionality the experienced users need.
For a growing company, we found Sage Intacct was perfect for our needs. We had outgrown QBO but were not in a place to take on the cost or burden of processes for larger platforms. We appreciate the added controls, user levels, user interface functionality. The platform was well designed with us in mind!
