Overall Satisfaction with Slack
Yes, my whole organization uses it for internal company-wide communication. It's very easy to communicate. It's very fast rather than having to write an email. Also, you can create a poll or send the same message to a single person as well as a group of people in your team or even company-wide broadcast. It's really a great tool.

- Only paid version saves messages
- Sometimes attaching a script/code can become tricky as you have to use special characters to do so

- Skype for Business (formerly Lync)
Skype was a great product too. It's entirely a paid product. Whereas Slack lets you use it for free just that it will not save the chat history after a few days. Group chatting is very easy in Slack. Also, polling can be easily done. You don't have to use any external software or website for the same thing.
